In EIRR we seem to have warmaps, that grant additional PP's for playing on them, this concept is interesting and innovative. However the selection of different maps is quite limited, meaning that over a few days you end up playing the same map A REALLY LOT OF TIMES, and suggesting an alternative map is apparently blasphemy.

I don't know about you, but i don't enjoy playing the same map 7 times in a row, therefore i would like to propose the quantity of "war maps" be increased, so that there is more variety in games.

Thoughts?

this problem is very much known already.

the devs keep saying they increase the time itll take for a map to change - i dont see it.

but this warmap isnt going to stay, eirmod is working on an entirely different warmap.

I'd propose there be seperate maps for bonus map push and bonus pp
Bonus PP should be 3 maps that all 133% and change every 2 days on a cycle so we pass through all of them.
There should be a daily advertised map at 166% so that players are enticed to balance test some newer maps that may turn out to great. *cough not just mine cough*

im not sure if using maps as sectors is a good idea at all because it has too many constraints. if we simply have 20 sectors in a war and numbered them from 1-20 with the current attack/defend modifier thingy it could let us have many short wars. change the number from 20 to anything to directly change the wars' length.

There really just has to be a choice to let us pick from multiple maps, while still putting some maps in focus.
So multiple maps give 150% bonus.
You could choose from 3 '2v2' maps, 3 '3v3' maps and 2 '4v4' maps.
This allows more choice than a single set map.

i like it in the fact that it's helping me learn the different maps quite well. but yeah it does suck when you want to give something else a try.

The current mechanic is part of as i understand it the broader system, so this is being worked on, suffice to say the feedback so far has been really useful.

What about if the onus shifted from game MAP, to game TYPE?

We'd end up with people being able to gimmick the gametypes then =/  Nevermind, I shouldnt have mentioned it hahahaha.
