Launcher doesn't work after updating

Hey,

i downloaded EIRR today. I updated it. Afterwards game didn't start. After searching for the problem for a while i noticed that the Launcher works before the EIRR Launcher file is updated. After updating it it does't work anymore.

What can i do to make it work?

After pressing launch in the Auto Updater or starting the launcher manually i get this Error (is german)



With all files istead of the launcher updated the launcher starts.

Btw: Direct X download, which comes with the EIRR installation didin't work.

I have Windows XP.

That's strange I had this problem with Medieval II total war. But I had just to click on coninue 2 times and it worked.

Can it be, because direct x install didn't work?

I downloaded the Direct X (about 90 MB) and now it works.
