if they were 2 per purchase, that would make em a bit too good I think, and you would see alot more of them, not to mention, with bottom T4 you would get 3 of them for 45mun  Grin
can someone clarify are they 1 or 2 per purchase?

I just checked, yeah, they're singles.

Either way, it's still 4 bundle nades to each 3 demo charges...

I'd say the 4 bundle nades are about as damaging as 3 demo charges (though it's, naturally, harder to pull off compared to 8 bundle nades).

Either way, it's still 4 bundle nades to each 3 6 demo charges...

in your case - fixed (i know that blitz can get a T4 with +1 bundled but to use them you need to sacrifice pop and bring a high value unit that can be countered close)

the problem is that one can easy spam 16 demos that are not really counterable (bundles can be dodged) but also doe not require additional pop all the time on the battlefield

and you deny important buildings for the enemy completely

its a bit like super cheap goliaths except that they can't be blown up when detected

on a good map with that super blast radius you can easily kill a squad or half of a vehicle each.....

its just a super grief company thats a bargain on maps with important buildings

If you know there's a demo in the building it's easy to kill it. All you need is to fire at it with a flamethrower, a grenade - or just a tank shot.

Nebelwerfers are the bane of my existence since they set off the entire map.

Have in mind I deny important buildings to my allies as well (pisses me off to no end when my ally insists on camping MGs in houses which I pinged 3 times to have a democharge -.-)

If you have a problem with the T4 - then argue that the T4 makes demo charges too plentiful.

I think that T4 in general will need a rework, since the +1 off map use is never going to go in any more with the implementation of the war map. (Just like it won't with joint ops) And in general it's quite a lacklustre T4.

Demos are underused IMO. I think something along the lines of BKmod where engineer units could place demo charges anywhere on the map (ergo, were equipped with mando demos) would work quite nicely. And yes, placing demos is a tricky buisiness; once you find a large enough bush (which enemies will absolutely try to use for cover at some point), the white circle is mitigated. You can actually control where the blast is centered on buildings with regular demo charges too--if you want it at the door, have your squad approach from that side of the building. Enemy hops in, sees white circle. "FUK DIS SHIT!" moment occurs, mass exodus out of teh house...and the door...with the demo on it. Click 'Detonate Me!' button and trololol.

Possibly a doctrinal unlock that would remove the white circle, but would remove the death crit (so the squad would be at full member strenght but everyone would be at 1 HP--retreat time) as to avoid the aforementioned lolwtfgib of precious units.

What would actually happen would be "player approaches house, detects democharge, shoots democharge, enters building".
