Since I've been bored, injured, away, and on happy pills, I decided that my computer needs an upgrade. I've been researching all day and this is what I have come up with:

COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 ATX Full Tower Case

GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 graphics card

Intel Core i5-3570K cpu

ASRock Z77 Extreme4  Mother Board

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 ram

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler

I figured since I mostly game and most games don't use hyper threading I didn't need the new i7. This set up doubles my current graphics card and almost doubles my current cpu in benchmarking. The new case has a way better designed then my current one, with some dust control. So I'm just trying to get thoughts and opinions on this set-up before I buy. What do you all think?

To OC I'd rather look for an used 2600k, better OC and cheaper.

2600k is more money now since they discontinued it sadly. I haven't really messed with over clocking yet but definitely plan to and is why I want the new case. I just need a machine that will run Rome 2 on max. Thanks for the input though, always good to have a second opinion.

Id be cautious about that gigabyte card. I've been through 4 in 6 years.

That's without overclocking and card temp was always around 55-60degrees while gaming. Even with the 20 something Fans I had in my antec 1200 case.

Thanks for the warning, as the only cards I have melted have been Nvidia which do tend to run hotter then amd. I might browse around some more but that card gives you almost the same performance as the 780 while saving a couple hundred bucks. Although a melted card does me no good lol. So thanks for the input Smiley.

I will also have some stuff for sale like the Q9650 cpu and the 6950 radeon card. Could also sell the board, cooler and ram too but it's ddr2. When I get back home I can post all the specs.
