I got on Vent but now I can't join any channels what do I have to do to register. Also what is the appropriate channel to ask questions about the game and get help for noobs.

The vent server changed it's now v5 instead of v10 at the beginning and the port is now 5025. Thats what let me log after a time off - no one said anything about it i guess

New vent, there was a thread about this on EiR and TLS website.
Register by asking a [Mod] in vent, they will do the rest.
