I'm sure that it's already been thought of and you guys are trying to get it in. But I was thinking (hoping) it wouldn't be hard to implement some basic passive abilities for each doctrine. As of now all 3 doctrines play the same except for a unlocked unit or two. But what would be cool is if there were passive abilities or something like that that you don't have to unlock. Abilities that would be T1 or T2 choices in EiR. I couldn't think of examples for all doctrines so I'm assuming people will chime in with some ideas =D

Wher
Blitz - All infantry is 10% harder to surpress, vehicles are 10% faster
Defensive - Stronger bunkers, all units have 5% more health
Terror - All units have 10% more suppression

PE
Scorched Earth - Can't think of anything =P
Tank Hunters - Can't think of anything =P
Luftwaffe - Can't think of anything =P

US
Infantry - Rifles cost 5% less MP
Armor - 5% less fuel cost on vehicles
Airborne - Can't think of anything =P

UK
Royal Engs - Can't think of anything =P
Commandos - Can't think of anything =P
Artillery - Can't think of anything =P

thats alot of "Can't think of anything" but at least your spirit is in the right direction. I'm pretty sure they have things lined up that are akin to the previous unlocks in EiR. Their just not implemented yet, and I think the reason was a desire to balance units. Which personally seems backwards because they will just have to balance the doctrine choices with units when it's all implemented.

As for commando's(and this should by no means be a passive ability) it'd be neat to see them get a heal on the move somewhat akin to on board mechanics. Although not on the same level of healing.
