Panzer formations smashing the enemy, pgren blobs supporting, lightning strikes into the soft flanks of the enemy's formations, and holding actions to repair. The Commonwealth and the Allies were crushed this day by the pride of the Third Reich.

This is how the Panzer Elite pave the road to victory.

One IST at a time.

The topic is a joke btw.

Obviously a double IST start with no capping units would normally be a bad idea.

Obviously 5 ISTs on the field at once would be asking for it normally. . .

Obviously relying on KCH fausts for AT would normally be asking for it.

But it was a great game because we got away with it all.

Brief synopsis:

LtApollo double IST starts without any capping units, Leafe goes beserk on vent.

Lt Apollo instagibs the other team's first two callouts. They finally respond with a Cromwell.

Cromwell arrives just in time to run into four shrek squads in IHTs courtesy of me.

Firefly gets German Drive by'd.

We still aren't really capping hard, but every time they go to cap, they meet a swarm of ISTs and Pgrens.

Brits get raped some more.

Mass PG repair.

PG Human wave into Sim City to open up pop cap for my 3 ISTs.

5 ISTs are on the field.

Fireflies are actually being microed now, but a glorious KCH Faust volley owns them.

TA comes out, rapes a bunch of armour.

We win.

1. It wasn't pure PE.
2. You played versus inferior players.
3. You played versus brits, and especialy versus a starting brit. Noob + brit + 1st to start = instalose.
4. Teams were heavily stacked in axis favour.
5. You had wehrmacht reinforcements, as well as a wehr ally, aparently.
All in all, proves nothing, replay shows a noobstomp by experienced players who for some reason seem to be proud of it. Not worth to even watch.

What this thread really shows, you pompous jackass, is that one should read replies before posting high and mighty analyses.

It wasn't a game to be proud of. He isn't saying that, but the sheer absurdity of the tactics and the fact that we actually won with them is what makes it worth posting (and thus watching). So quit being dicks about the teams and just watch it or shut up. It's a funny replay, nothing else.

The fact is still that even tough they were meant to demonstrate other points, they end up also demonstrating a noob stomp.

I feel it might be worth pointing out that I have 4 or 5 logged games in new EiR and have probably played less than 20, probably closer to 15 games of EiR all up. I'm not exactly an advanced player, and am probably best described as a noob myself. What wins I have are have been through clear map imbalances (Abby Winter 4v4 defending), pure luck (Sabotage gets a cally) or being carried kicking and screaming through by grossly superior allies.

Apollo and I like to play together (or at least I like to play with Apollo) because our personalities and senses of humour mesh well together. We certainly don't aim to noob stomp, and certainly don't have anything approaching a habit of doing it. Being that I don't play very much, I don't know who Leafe is, nor can I recognise most players to tell if they're noobs or not. If there is anyone out there who detests exploiting, noob stomping and generally unfriendly behaviour, it's Apollo. The only player I think I have more respect for is 31stPzGren, and frankly it would be difficult to make a case for anyone being more respectable than him.

What this game highlights is not a noob stomp, it's a very unconventional match. That at least one of the British players had a 57mm in his first call out shows that he'd played at least ten times as many games as me recently. Someday I was hoping to get the PP for my first Hummel, let alone reinforcements like he had.

EiR will benefit immensely from the supply benefits that we are waiting to have implemented. Then this noobstomp/teamstack bullshit should become tangental to what is in general a great mod.
