I know right now the Fallschirms paradrop without even selecting the doctrine ability in Luftwaffe.
But do they (or will later) still paradrop if you get them from reinforcements?
If they dont I see no reason to get them since Grenadiers perform much better as ground infantry.

Parachutes are more for the "cool factor" rather than actual usefullness for the falls, tbh.

Not if I want them as behind the lines infantry.
Why would I get fallschirms that simply walk onto the field?

They shouldnt need an abillity to paradrop in the luftwaffe doctrine tbh. Allied airborne dont have to pay pp for their AB to paradrop, and with RR's they can atleast serve some kind of purpose reasonably well.

Right now falschimjaegers are not cost effective for the simple reason that they have no clear purpose. They could be PE's elite anti-infantry, but they are simply unable to compare to the elite infantry of the 3 other armies to make this a viable option. Rangers, commandos, and KCH outperform them too greatly in this respect to make this an option. (even in heavy cover, rangers and commandos will annihilate falschims with fg42's).

well fsj are 250 mp and are stronger than normal infantry, but again their role is ambushing not fighting in the open.

They are not stronger than Grenadiers, so why should anyone use them when they cant be used to ambush effectively without paradropping?

You can still ambush them with fg42s and cloak :p.

(even in heavy cover, rangers and commandos will annihilate falschims with fg42's).

The smg rangers or commandos will get raped if they ever charge an fg42 squad in green cover, go ahead and try it.

The problem as i see it, even if they ambush, they will lose against other Elite infantry.

seriously i dont know about you, but i do deem there very cost effective, yes one of my vet 3 falls nearly got cut down by no vet commando squad when it was in no cover n mine was in light while it was supported by another of my vet 2 falls..  Undecided  personally i believe they are stronger (as in more accurate, shoots faster, does more damage) and can cloak in cover which just makes the enemy guesing where are my anti infantry. how i use em i can destroy any infantry if im in cover n its being support. and its always being supported by tankbusters or teammates p4's. falls can take on infantry, just a word from experience, dont use them if there not in cover. they have the ungodly nack to just get creamed running and gunning (no point in having assault bonus) IMO

Supported falls = great defence
