Aight, so I finally got around to removing the free XP vehicles....which was a right pain in the ass since they were not deletable. DONE: http://files.filefront.com/6p+Industrial+Heartlandsga/;13876457;/fileinfo.htmlAdded some more detail, modified some heights, fixed a couple walls and such, resectored.     Its a return to urban hell.

Its a return to urban hell. I was not aware it snowed in hell. So, I supposed when people say "it has a snowball's chance in hell" they mean it has a really good chance? Just joshing, looks nice.

As much as I don't like urban maps, this one is actually well done. There is enough space to move around and flank, and only a few areas where pathing is retarded. Otherwise the layout is pretty good and the battle in the middle where the big wall is, is always interesting.

Well AmPm i played it. It forced a ragequit which was kinda funny. But some of the buildings have exit issues. I was gonna put my Vet 3 Pgrens into a building but Stumpster got his grens in first. Good thing too beause it turns out everytime he exited his units would just clump up and the door. they were being blocked by terrain snow drift.
Also the spacing between buildings is just wide enough that tanks try and fit through them but because they can't they spend 30 seconds moving at like .01 speed smashing the walls off them.
Marders and front armour heavy tanks are uber rape on this long defiles though.

If it's possible it would be nicer for this map to have more Damaged Buildings and such and perhaps holes in the fence (especially in the west fence). I played an attack/defend the other day and the pathing of the map at the start is very bad.
Is it meant to be in good condition or in ruins at the start?
Either way it's another decent 3v3 map that will get a bit of playtime, thanks for the map. It's a good change from most others.

I played in 3 PE team attacking, it was really fun for me but my teammates gave up before it was over. I really liked the feel of the battle but it might be better for snow not to be default.

The tiling only affects the look of the map, and at least with snow on the ground you don't have to have all the streets negative cover liek you would anywhere else. the problem is some cluster fuck areas(intended i know but what a hassle) and in some spots the buildings are too big they block your view and you gotta look top down to do anything.

on this map 88's and tigers or howitzers.
it is truly a meat grinder of a map and i reconmend flamers lots of them.
I spent 12 months playing that map on and off with my blitz company and airborne company it is truly hell on earth.

I'll go through and check for door blocks, if you can give me the approx area that would help.
Will also destroy more buildings and place some movement blocking items in areas tanks try to fit but shouldn't (prevents retardation), the fence lining the rails will also be getting holed.

From the bottom left spawn, straight up the road, just under the midway point on the map there is a blocky warehouse that one door blocks for sure

3 things - Fix mapname -> Industrial Heartland (6) - Demolish some buildings entirely, building to building combat doesn't really play out in vCOH, there shouldn't be rows of intact ones. - Widen up some streets and gaps between buildings else pathing is HELL
Rest is fine, map is great and very different. All it needs now is a solid update to make it play better.
