so iam at work, on lunch.. downloaded launcher to and installed, but dont work.. iam guessing you need the actual game installed to get the launcher to work?

Hmm... I *think* it should work standalone as long as you have all the required files and your workplace doesn't block the network traffic.

well it failed on the dirextx install... so when i start the launcher it says something about installing in correct folder and calls me a dumbass! lol

You need the folder structure intact, maybe you could mimic it but I'm not sure thats gonna work
Probably also need the latest net code and all that stuff, in case it doesnt come with the download.

Hmmm... this is actually a good question for EIRRMod, to see what the minimum requirements are for the launcher to run.

Though I suspect on most work machines, you might have issues intalling the required software.
