Missing Text

Hello,

When I use EiR I am constantly seeing KEY NOT FOUND $##### when playing.

I've installed and reinstalled and still this problem appears, anyone understand why?

Make sure you have a file called EuropeInRuins.English.ucs in your Company of Heroes\EuropeInRuins\Locale\English directory. Also make sure the only file in the Company of Heroes\Engine\Locale\English directory is RelicCOH.English.ucs.

You're starting on the axis starting position. Are you playing skirmish? Make sure you're playing as allies if you are allies.

The Files are correct and are in the correct positions.

I'm also playing online, it doesn't affect online play at all.

I wondered if this was the problem. Starting in an Allied slot while playing Axis will give you these sort of errors.

coh can be perverse in this respect

i still get the missing text error from 1.7 which is supposedly fixed by reinstalling coh (but I can't be bothered)

Okay, Figured out a fix for this. IT WAS SO SIMPLE! Undecided

Just copy/paste the EuropeInRuins.English.UCS from " ...\Company of Heroes\EuropeInRuins\Locale "

to " ...\Company of Heroes\Engine\Locale\English " Folder

It fixes it straight away and doesn't conflict with vCOH at all.

No mods are suppose to install UCS files in the COH\Engine\Locale\English folder... It should work where I placed it. Perhaps you had other mods installed that used the COH\Engine location??
