oh, about the price change: change the muni cost of tank commander.
firefly tank commander = 45 muni, stuart tank commander is 45 muni too. but stuart is dead in 1 shot, so noboddy gets the upgrade for so many munis. EVEN RELIC ALREADY CHANGED IT IN VCOH

if you have a CCT + Firefly you only get Tank Commander on the CCT.. if you have no CCts.. you put it on the firefly. Stuart shouldn't even be getting the option tbh.

great change on medkit imho... sick of beating down a unit and to have the click on a medkit and start the healing magic and defeat me where i had almost won.. good change.

and dont even say triage... i used to get one, but its a waste of mun now because as soon as axis see it, instant destroy from v1 or firestorm etc.. so it barely stays on the field long enough to be useful.  at least medkits you can run back away from battle and hide and heal.

Well, Tym, I don't think its gonna be just as effective versus vehicle as before, the match we played previiously had a whole swarm of AT boys, thats why it was so darn effective. now, due to its really non-effective on infantry, I don't think you'll ever see such a mass as Rice Tea's boyz.
So thats where my concern comes. AT rifles versus Heavy tanks, i dont think they'll manage to kill it before dying or retreating off.
As someone previously had noted, the AT rifle isn't even as good as the RR, doing less. And now, I am not sure if its really worth the 80 muni.

Thats my 2 cents on this matter, anyway.

it'll still do good damage but yeah, wont see ma sses of these things taking out vehicles and if you're using them against heavies then meh...

anywho. Bren + Light Vehicle + Boys AT = pwned

its a AT rifle, hello.. if it was a AI rifle... it wouldn't be getting a nerf to hit AI.  When considering its stats we looked at the RR for its stats.  Its not really a nerf so much as a fix.

Interesting changes, not sure why on the Medkit one, they don't heal ATGs and support weapons, while the Triage does. But oh well.

Ok though i agree medkits did need a nerf, this direct nerf to grenadiers imo is just to mutch.

realy 1 HW for a Heavy inf squad, it seam pointless axis inf can barly stop the huge number allyed troops why would you nerf the hard counter capabilitys they could have, REALY NOW a single LMG IS NOTHING a shrek is NOTHING. how can you effectivly kill anything when you now haft to duable the amount of troops to have the same Ant inf and Anti tank capabilitys when the allys can just exploit the lack of heavy Anti inf and cut you up with rangers or brens, this is a dramatic nerf to axis heavy infentry capabilitys and removes many vallid options for specific handling of a situation.

i came back to whermatch for there hard counters, now i am thinking whats the point of even getting grens of stormis now when i can get better firepower with volks who ARE cheeper and more effective.

I think the problem with medikits was the stupid rambo effect it gave to the troops, not the efficiency of healings. "Zeal" penalties would have solved the problem pretty well, because if you decided to stay in the fight you were going to take much damage, medikits would have been used like they were intended to be: healings, not steroyds/or to avoid mg damage once suppressed.

Wouldn't it have been better to apply an incoming damage penalty while using medkits/healing car/triage? That way you can use it to heal, but not on the front line?

The heave weapon change to Axis hurts Wehr a lot, a standard LMG Gren squad is now out DPS'd by a BAR squad with no choice to go for the second upgrade.

why can i not get a lmg and a shreck on one gren?
after all the munitions we pay for such weapons, how about a drop weapon button(tov has one)?
i think storms should be able to get double shrecks, after all, they are doctrine specific.

Whats interesting is that it actually doesn't bring it in line with the other factions. Allies always get 2 gun per upgrade paid. 1 BAR upgrade gives you 2 BARs, same with zooks, RRs, Brens, etc.

Either way, best of luck to my Wehr buddies in stopping Commandos now....or Rangers.....

Basically, stop playing Wehr, go play Luft, get Blitz reinforcement.

Oh look, more infantry stopping power, the same or better tank stopping power, Paras, HMGs, super doctrine abilities! And a Mortar HT.

AMPM, it brings it in line with them in two ways.

First, it brings it DIRECTLY in line with PE.

Second, it brings it in line with Allied squads as in the amount of anti-x firepower they hold. Yes, all of the anti-tank weapons come in twos, but they're generally around as good as a single shreck together. If they could be upgraded to have 4 PIATs in one squad, or 4 RRs, then it would be in line with two shrecks.

I don't agree with the change myself, but I don't disagree either. My biggest problem with it is the fact the new doulbe lmg/shrecks are in mixed up doctrines and, more importantly, wiped out existing doctrine abilities.
