Ya, the Church is
incredibly cheap, which is why I said it's so cost-effective. The thing is, it costs the same as a Sherm, has better armor and much more health, and is two Pop less.
Taking doctrine unlocks into account (which I also mentioned in my previous post), it has the same gun as a Sherm, can go Hull Down, gives heavy cover + bonuses to infantry (which will be huge in breaking Axis lines), and more.
Short and simple, the Church is fine as it is, and with all the unlocks it may even be OP.
