Heavy Support Question

I just noticed ATGs were removed from the Terror T4 'Heavy Support'. I know the reduced percentages for the range and sight were specifically intended, but was this also an intended change?

im pretty sure it is. It would get the paks close to 88 range. I'm pretty sure the current range is 60, the buff would up it to 75. An 88 has 100 range.

75 range is more than the 17 pounder was, when people cried out op, it's also more than a mortar.

I was going to run a heavy support company, but with the change, its hardly worth it. The range was what made the difference...it wasn't like most terror companies were heavy support anyways, most went German Steel, but that got nerfed when the KT became unaffected. I don't really understand why there is a need these days to nerf all t4's from vanilla EIR, but I'm not really in favor of the changes...especially when some of the new OF force t4's are quite strong...

I thought the KT gained benefit from German Steel, although I could be wrong.

The range increase is only 10% now, so if the pak range is 60, then it would go to 66.

The extra range is not bad, you can snipe 57mm without getting shot at in return.

Exactly, but the text doesn't list ATGs as gaining the benefit anymore, just want to know if it's an oversight or intentional.

The range increase was declined on Paks for the moment, its a very powerful ability to be able to fire through the fog of war at an opposing unit that cannot fire back. it may change in the future, but for balance sake right now it's been removed. Mostly due to Repairs and On-Board Mechanics being revamped.
