Btw Wehrmortar from Terror reinforcements doesn't have mortar smoke, and thats all I wanted from it since I prefer Mortar Hts because of their mobility.

Is this intended?

Yea mortar ht's dont have smoke in vcoh either. They get the incendeary barrage instead. There's a doc ability where they can get smoke but very very few people use smoke anyway and with incendiary why would you want to use smoke...

What? Did you even read my post?

And of course I know MHT doesnt get smoke, I've been playing this game since beta 2006 ffs.

And I use smoke because I know how effective it is and can be, most people forget about it.

Because the 81mm German Mortar is supposed to have Smoke, that's why.

Likely not, much like how reinforcement engineers could buy triage centers, but British couldn't use them, or you could buy 17 lbers in reinforcements previously but they could not setup as Americans.

Try changing your faction in coh to Wehr and then try if it works. It's probably the same bug that happened to crossfaction buildings as stated above.

No, it happens only to paradropped mortars. Captured mortars on the field of battle give you the smoke barrage.

I thought we gave MHTs smoke barrage now...

Unless it was made a doctrine unlock, which in that case I'm too lazy to look it up.

It's a T1 for the scorched earth

Quote
Scorched Earth Division

Roadblocks (Panzergrenadiers can build roadblocks)
Booby Trap Building (Basic Panzergrenadiers can purchace a booby trap)
Mechanised Grief (Kettenkrad can purchase Firecracker mines)
Slow Going (Enemy captures 25% slower)
Smoke Rounds (Mortar HT can use smoke barrage)

Luft get a T1 doctrine ability that gives them a supply drop (including a mortar).  I use that and often get some pretty insane kills.

It's a tier 1 for SE to unlock smoke on MHTs.
