Fires fine for me.
Sometimes it get's stuck in the change angle mode (with the arrows crosshair) but just wait for it to reload and it should be fine.
Also the first time you fire a volley, the button sticks/shows as firing, even after it's fired the full volley, keep an eye on the barrage skill (which isn't enabled yet) for the real cooldown timer.
