I feel as if the double LMG / shrek nerf made these guys horribly hard to vet up given the same XP values needed to vet. Before their nerf, they weren't too bad to vet up...but now...

I've had a pair of LMG grens get alot of action in the last 3 games...but they're still only vet 1, 1/2 way to vet 2. When I was playing with the double shrekked / LMG grens, the XP values seemed more inline with what they were capable of...Now it just seems like an improbable task.

I compare them to my volks...Which make it to Vet 2 and 3 on a regular basis.

Would it be possible to bring their xp vet values in-line with their nerf? At least until the doctrine abilities for double shrek / LMG are implemented?

Thoughts? It could just be that I fail with grens.

I feel as though the Double LMG /Schrek being taken away actually made their vet requirements appropriate... 80xp was too low before.. they're still easier than Riflemen to vet up. which are 50xp. Seems about right to me.

Must be just me then...because my airborne has 2x vet 3 rifles, and *had* 4x vet 3 airborne etc....

Meh. again, maybe i just fail with grens.

80xp is right.  It's with Tommy infantry sections, which with brens are the same to vet up.   It will take around 10 games to get to vet3 however they are very survivable.

80 xp = 10 tank kills, which is pretty easy to do with schrecks.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

The Shreck vetting is alright at the very moment.

But the LMG grenadiers are twice as hard to vet up. I usually did it so that switched weapons with grenadiers. Those with vet 2 do better with a LMG42 than a vet 1 or vet 0 Grenadier...

The LMG ones are very hard to vet up these days

indeed I switch to a STG44 when my Storm Troopers  get to vet 2 or 3 so the same is probably true for Grens..

Why would you give 20% bonus damage to STG44 stormtroopers...

We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.

Honestly - why do you do that? Why do you not want to one-shot shermans? :S

Because LMG with vet 3 can rape infantry more effective and I fear infantry more than tanks

imo if we are comparing tommies to grens, tommies need less XP requirements because they have no shrecks/zooks/piats etc.. rather steep XP requirements for a purely AI and support infantry unit..

but with grens having a form of AT I think 10/40/80 XP is about right for their vet requirements..

You can swap in and out upgrades; so when a shreck squad gets to vet 3, replace the shreck with a LMG; then vet up your non vet squads by using shrecks
