Why is it that these forums have got to be some of the slowest load times I have ever come across.  I guess its probably due to the reporting of the battles and what not.

but it stands to question.  what happens when you have a hundred players playing constantly.  Will your web site be able to keep up and function with higher flow of information?

are the forums even linked to the rest of the website (obviously they must be because everyime i click a message it updates everything else aswell... ) 

curious observation is all.

Forums load slow in Internet Explorer.  I can't figure out why.  In Firefox it loads very fast.

they do more than load slow they cause the CPU to chug for like 20 seconds. forums perform like ass in ie.

they do work in firefox fine tho so *shrug*

Probably the teamspeak shit.

And if not that then having images in CSS styles. Big images. Maybe IE sucks at cache'ing them. Yeah I think thats a better idea.

they performed like ass in ie even when it was ventrilo.

i cant see how images would cause cpu chug...

Not sure, I tried changing my theme to the SMF core them (the blue one) and it still loads like shit in IE (I think)...
