I meant, can fasts damage/destroy/immobilize engines, or destroy main guns, etc at all at green/yellow health?

Green health is > 40% hp.
Yellow is from 5% to 40%.
Red is 5% or lower(its not possible to reach zero).

Vs tanks:
15% chance of engine dmg  at green.
30% chance of engine dmg  at yellow.

Vs light vehicles:
20% chance of engine dmg  at green.
15% chance of destroy secondary (destroy say a mounted MG, like the M8's machinegun) at green.

35% chance of engine dmg  at yellow.
15% chance of destroy secondary at yellow.

15%? That's it? I agree that the Faust needs a price increase, but those crit tables could be made a bit better, too.

Also, why were the chances lowerd so much in the first place? People were complaining about the Main Gun Destroyed and Immobilized in green, but didn't seem to mind the Damaged Engine too much.

People were complaining about all of the crits because the price was stupidly low for the damage it did. People aren't spamming them now because you can't main gun destroy a 100% hp pershing  Cheesy

Well they killed way more, I liked how you combined them with halftracks.

Because the HP equivalent of 20% of my company died to a 15 munitions mine without doing anything.

Could someone explain this Volks strategy to me, I'm intrigued!

It involves not having your KT immobilized at 100% health from hitting a mine, thereby effectively killing 1/5th of your company with 15 munitions.

Basicaly, glaze, what you do, is build your company in such a way, so that you chose the cheapest possible unit for any job. AT - volks with fausts. Infantry AT - grenadiers with grenades Tanks - StuGs and Ostwinds. There is not a single upgrade in the company that would cost more than 50 munitions.

The idea behind it, is that even if you lose a platoon or two, you will still have only used up a small portion of your army, and there's still a load left. I can only dream about how well it would work on a fully developed battalion(full doctrines and advantages), but the results I'm getting with a new one are quite satisfactory indeed.

But then again a pershing killed 7 tanks because you dont have paks and none of your AT can stand up to a pershing. Cheesy

I heard my ally with 3 paks, and P4s had quite the same experience against the pershing. At least each of my tanks cost about half as much as his when I lose them, and there's no point even mentioning the volks as something that costs anything Cheesy

While that certainly seems interesting, always choosing the cheapest (usually the worst) option will get you borked in many situations.

Also, how/why are you using the Gren grenade? It should never be taken on anything ever, it's just so terrible.

So not true dude.  Back in the day, Pangu (omg fanboi now) used to run a terror company with grens and nades... you got a second use of them and it used to look like he was assaulting he thew so many.

Gren nade is okay, its just that its usually better to spend munitions on other stuff.

Of course if you throw so many nades it looks like you're Assaulting you'll do some serious damage; Terror and Blitz have it a bit better with their 2-nade doc unlocks.
But for the price of three nades, you could get an LMG, which (if used correctly) can do more damage, and lasts for the entire game.

I haven't seen anyone but complete newbies use Wehr nades, that in itself must say something.

You get 2 grenades for 25 mun, 3 of them with a T1.
What's not to love with 8 munitions a grenade? That's cheaper than cheap!
One of them won't do shit, but it has insane throw range, and you usualy have 10 pop callins, not 5 Wink.

I remember when you argued volks were overpriced compared to riflemen Smiley.
We never altered their price...

It's a shame you have to flamebait developers and include personal griefs/rants into what could have otherwise been a 'proper' discussion about something.

I love Wehr nades. Longer throw range. They dont' do as much damage as rifle nades but you're doing what, 40 damage to 55 health rifle squads if you hit them, as opposed to 60 to a 60 health volks or 80 health gren squad? Now, if you're throwing them on hmg's, then rifle nades when but if you're throwing them on opposing infnatry, then Wehr nades win cuz most people dont use a lot of volks, they use grens and you can throw your nades and stay out of range of fire. Also when throwing threw aka "over" things you have a lower range to throw as well.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

wtf are you talking about Tym? Nade throw range is less than any gun, so no, other than throwing through buildings and such, you do not avoid fire.
