So, CW used to only have scout squads to snipe with. Buuut you had to watch out for their piats, which can shoot over hedges, and also ignore what side of the tank they are firing on (rear shots from front). Now they have a sniper squad. All I can assume is, soon there is going to be a change to let schrecks fire over hedges..... right!?

hm? Why should that happen?

Commando Sniper is a Doctrine T3 Unlock?

Offtopic: not another discussion including piats Sad

Jinker's a whiner and yea come on, it's a T3 unlock that doesn't cloak.

Shrecks are still stronger than Piats and both americans and brits would rather have schrecks than their man packed at, including rr's, piats and bazookas.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

just a comment on the piats shooting at the front and hitting engines..

the atht does that too, shoot my sherman from front, not only does the measly 37mm magically penetrate the sloped armor it goes all the way thru and destroys my engine..

lol

I would definitely take a t3 for the ability to shoot over hedges or through buildings. Hey tym, thanks for keeping it mature. Or maybe give PE a sniper now?

I will glady trade you all the schreks you want for RRs and PIATs.

They should just let you buy "captured enemy weapons" with PP or something.

RR's are only good on AB cuz of fire up, piats are no good without button and RR's are horrible vs halftacks, so m8's and t17's would kick your ass.

Well the grass does always seem to be greener on the other side....

Anyways, the Commando sniper is a T3 unlock that can't camouflage and depends entirely on it distance in order to not get killed by the enemy. It is also prone to being easily counter-sniped as well as the Spotter can't use the Sniper Rifle if the actual sniper dies.

Right now it is unbalanced due to the fact it can garrison and shot out a Bren Carrier with perfect accuracy, but once it has been fixed, it is really only viable as a Close support defensive unit.

I would take that offer.

Your second suggestion would be nice, and even historically accurate. According to The Wages of Destruction, 47% of German artillery was captured from foreign countries by 1944 (most artillery was from the French).

The US army, during its advance in September, frequently armed itself with captured German pieces due to an ammunition shortage. The 244th Field Artillery Battalion and the 79th Field Artillery Battalion (Provisional) were equipped with German 88s, 105s, and 150s during this time. During the end of Patton's drive, 80% of XX Corp's artillery rounds fired were from captured stocks.

So if there were any barriers, they would come from gameplay, not realism.

Jinker just wait couple more weeks till everything is implemented, you might find more axis stuff later on. but for now, CW has its turn.

btw, shreks are awesome, and well more than half the time they are more accuracte then zooks, plus do more damage, and penetrate more, have u seen rifleman with a shrek, argh!

RR on the other hand shouldnt be compared to zooks or shreks, imo, but thats for another time.

I'll sell you every single PIAT, RR and bazooka I have for shreks instead.
RRs are sold 3:2
PIATs are sold 2:1
Bazookas are sold 3:1

KKthxbie.

Nah.... I love my shreks but it sucks having that ranger or piat blob do good to both infantry and all my vehicles. I can give my assault grenadiers a use panzerfaust ability but id have to throw all my tankbusters out for them all to have it because it takes about 3-5 just to kill a sherman Sad
