Experienced, well willing users may not request 'Mentor Accounts'. These are accounts with 'Mentor' in the relic online profile name (Preferably 'UsernameMentor') used exclusively for aiding newer/less experienced players.

What you get
Full (near) level 8 account with enough PPs to unlock everything you will need.
The accounts will also start off with 15 wins and 25 draws (for recognition purposes)

What we expect
You actively volunteer to play with new/less fortunate players, you guide them and/or give them tips.
This is done, if possible, both in game and outside of the game (vent/xfire/etc)

Important!
Abusing this program to give yourself a fully levelled account that you can continuously play on, will result in the possible deletion of ALL your accounts. If you don't think you have what it takes to separate 'mentoring' from 'competitive play' please do NOT apply. Only apply if you are well willing and dedicated to what you are about to embark upon.

We will be actively keeping track of these accounts.

For obvious reasons we will not be able to give everyone who applies an account, we'll do a test with some people first and then go from there. So for now we only need a handful of active, friendly & skilled mentors.

Together we can make this mod more newbie friendly, more accessible and generally more welcoming.

Post here if you're interested. Mention the name of the profile you regularly use to play.
We'll let you know if you get selected and will tell you everything else you need to know from there.

if you want to make a mentoring account, and think you will be accepted.  you will need to create a new account (or reset one of your current ones) with the relic name (SAME AS YOUR FORUM NAME) with teh mentor after it.

salanMentor would be mine if I made it.

can't add pps / xp until you do Wink

I'll do it on this account
I'm fine with spending half the time watching someone else's units.
I've mentored people before but never well because in those cases it was a game where my units were more important so it would be nice to have a mentor account.

Can we get an upto date list, with everyone who is officially a mentor on here as well please.

And the type of behaviour we can expect.
MentorBubbles was a complete asshat in the game I was in with him.

I'll just continue normally with what I do, pimping my thread and answering questions and playing the occasional game. I appreciate the mentor tag tho as I am easier to spot as "help" in ventrilo now, but I dont think I need one of those accounts. Maybe later if something super imba comes along so i can test it Cheesy

This sounds like a good idea. I ain't going to sign up though, Haven't got the patience to sit through with people and help them set up their company's and how to play. Don't mind PLAYING with noobs, just don't like teaching :3

MentorBubbles was a complete asshat in the game I was in with him.

Probally be a bit better if you explained WHY he was a "asshat" so they can sort out the situation.

I'd love to apply. I actually have a lvl 1 pe account. My highest one was lvl 5, and was wermatch. I also had a lvl 2 or 3 pe tankbuster acc and a last one blitz acc, lvl 3, but i delete both.  I created a new account, named SX23mentor, both in eir and coh. PM at pelchatsimon@hotmail.com if i'm accepted.

I think the idea is that it is a separate account you use to help newbs where you don't have to worry about your own stats/rep.

so no
