If i were smokaz, id hit IA, then use medkits at the same time with patch and run to counter the negative effects of IA in a normal fight.

With patch and run, what's that? like 5 seconds of being slowed down with 50% more medpak potency, and the same duration of healing time?

yep... tis gonna be gay, especially on oakleaves kch

patch&run isnt in yet and nobody knows if it will made into the doctrine like it is described

and even with that i would expect that double potency means that the time a medpack lasts is doubled and not the healing rate...but anyways

when i would currently play terror (i dont play wehrmacht anymore since i don't let me annoy and kidding by all these nerfes to uselessness)  but i would choose blitz reinforcements

get the 2 or 3 doubleshrek storms....get T3 fuel advantages and 6 panzer 4 (4 regular ones and 2 from reinforcements) with german steel fully upgraded and intensity and advanced munitions and 4 regular hmgs and 2 from reinforcements and 12 volks....maybe a mortar...no nebel no grenadiers..

but you still will be very week against the hardsupportcounters arround

No cloak for paks. Seriosly, how do you hide an at gun in the middle of a road? If we allow a pak to cloak, it should only be in heavy cover.

Actually, we may have something there. With the exception of snipers, I think units should only be able to cloak in heavy cover, that just make fucking sense.....but the axis will bitch, so it will never hapen.

Then Axis will know how to it feels fearing invisible units and cant call nerf on them because it would hit their storms too  Grin

What is with this new trendy saying "see what I am doing" Is it possible to have an intelligent conversation on this board with out the use of over used trendy sayings. Try to be a little more original and I will take your post with some interest.

Please also note that I said all units with exception of sniper. For those of you that have reading problems, that means allied cloaking units as well.

My comment was not in regards to Zeal, heroic charge, blitz, fire up or any other ability other than the one I stated.


It only makes sense to have cloak in heavy cover only. The ability to camouflage in heavy cover is a little more realistic.

Please don't quote the typical "game-play>realism. Everybody knows that, but realism does carry some merit in this game. If it didn't, we would be using spaceships, not Sherman's and P4's

I'll go all in on this one.  How about if ALL units can cloak in heavy cover only.  But no units can cloak in the open.

The only unit it will realy effect are stoormtroopers making it more difficult for axis to take out allied positions or scout for artillery.

Allies do have it easyer with their fast movement non surpressable abilities. Jeeps are common use wheras you do not see axis scout units very often.

Also storms are rather fragile and have a high cost for upgrades, the moment they loose cloack ability they are nearly worthless (bundle nade being only usefull thing) and would need some insane buffs and cost reductions to balance or fall like bonuses on every weapon when they shoot out of cloack (probably even more).

Why have cloak at all? Why do we need invisible units to win a battle?
I know I may seem to be contradicting myself, but I am not.

First and foremost, I believe only snipers should have cloak ability. I don't use snipers, so my reasoning is not selfish. One solitary unit having an ability to camouflage and not be seen makes sense.

Because the possibility of the devs making this change is close to non existent, I would be willing to compromise by allowing existing cloakable units to only cloak in heavy cover.

I do not want this to become a flame war of axis versus allied, but the only people really apposed to a change of this nature are axis units.

Allied players enjoy the cloak ability of the hellcat and 6pdr, but really wouldn't give a shit if they lost it; as long as it was equal across the board.

The commando cloak would be the only cloak in which units actually have to crawl on the ground.

I just mentioned the recon section because he was referring to jeeps only.

I know that commandos camouflage will cause some trouble, but on the other hand i might show axis players how it is fighting versus stealth units.

And after experiencing that kind of warfare they might even agree on removing camouflage just in order to get those insanse ninja commandos out of the game Wink

@Baine: As long as the movement speed is the same as every other camouflage i dont care how they move around. Although i dont see any reason why commandos have to crawl and stormtroopers dont Wink
