its called a beta and sometimes it is really hard to get enough pp to try out something...

if i want a new good royal engis company now i have to start from zero to get rid of the useless boys AT rifles and to get useful other T2

in old EiR you got PP for every day in the war so after 50 days you had enough CP to almost build a full doctrine

now you get "potential" more PP because other opponents are higher rank but you still need 20-25 games just to try out a company build

It's still faster than old EiR with sole exception of starting with a lot of PPs/CPs. You start off quicker in EiR, but you level up quicker in EiR:R too.

Well BigDick, if it makes you feel better Hull Down isn't useful either, its 50mu to turn your tank into a stationary skirted tank...

50MUN?!

Please remove the mun cost completly?

Do Axis have to upgrade their Tanks with Improved Barrels? Or Advanced Munitions for their support weapons? Or Inspired Assault?

Or am i gonna have to upgrade my mortar pit with supercharged rounds soon?

You cant compare Hull Down to skirts, doenst make any sense to me.

So can anbody please explain why i have to upgrade every tank for 50mun just to use a ability that already has a trade off?

that still gets rear armour hits

I thought it would be neat to turn Hull Down into a more tactical ability. Lowers received damage and accuracy while in vehicle cover, with the ability to make its own vehicle cover via the Hull Down animation/activation.

That way you can get bonuses while in craters etc without having to go immobile.

you can compare hulldown to skirts but if you do you see the downsides only on hulldown....

1. limited to royal engies doctrine
2. T2 doc ability
3. manually action requiered to trigger it and no passive buff
4. tanks can not move or turn while using this kind of "skirts"

and this for almost the same costs

actually it would be only fair if it is a free ability (maybe very cheap like 10mun) because you spend a T2 and you are limited to be stationary

it can be easily countered by getting around a tank that cannot move or turn for "free" rear armor hits or if this is not possible (situational) to drive away
