Ok.
These things are shit.
The penetration is worse than any vehicle in the game so it bounces of of pumas and halftracks making it a very shitty vehicle killer.
accuracy vs inf is pathetic, worse than puma.
Damage to inf is also pathetic. about equal damage to puma
Armour - none it will take puma bullets and die.
Dodge - decent but without phase shield armour and missile locking shrecks it can die very fast.
Health - no clue but 2 shots from anything decent and 3 after it gets vet/ doctrine help.
75 muni vehicle stun. 2 uses. Stun lasts 4 seconds.
- trust me your going to die so no double uses.
- unless you can block the tank with something in those 4 second useless.
While they can be great when there is no counter around 1 shreck sqaud will kill it one shreck man even, and it can circle strafe things but the only AT thing it can kill is an unsupported at gun that isn't cloaked. (we all dream)
At vet 3 with all the vet bonuses including penetration and whatnot its still shit and bounces off of pumas and Ht's still dies in 2-3 hits and still takes 2-3 facehits to kill inf.
So:
Increase the penetration of the t17 by 100%, no more bouncing off of everything, don't worry even with double penetration it will still bounce off of skirts half the time.
Increase the health by 15% so a brand new T17 will have some health left after 2 hits.
These 2 changes will probably be enough to make it viable. It's current situation is similar to the hotchkiss except a hotchkiss can penetrate everything and one shot infantry whereas this can't

wow, you complain an awful lot...T17 is the same thing as the Staghound on the brits, except no .50 cal. The shots dont bounce off of puma's...they rape puma's and any other light vehicle out there and have pretty good penetration vs rear armor and can rape infantry because of the fast fire of its gun. dunnow how you're using it but it aint no m8.

Uh no lol. The Brit staghound uses the stuart gun, the American T17 uses a completely different gun. Also the American T17 has 175 hp while the Brit one has 450 hp. |

The American one dies to 2 hits from any dedicated AT weapon out there.
The main gun kicks ass if you ever run into any infantry that doesn't have AT (which is pretty rare except in the endgame), but I wish you could buy skirts for the damned thing. Putting WP rounds on a cooldown like Button would also be nice because it costs a ton for something that can only be used twice.
When you consider that this is the free doctrine unlock that's supposed to be as useful as Rangers or Airborne or Stormtroopers, it doesn't stack up well.

Now we have sandbags on it but the problem with any health bonus is that now the repair won't repair fully.
50%armour>50%health because health has to be fixed.
its an edge axis always had untill allied elite inf showed up

Nope. Now with sandbags repair only fixes 60% of its health and Doesn't fix crits. and rapes infantry now thats its got more health yes. But its damage is comparable to a 50.cal which cost only 50 munitions. skirts are 70/ why not make them 60 like M8? |

The Stun Shot is like Button and kinda like Treadbreaker, only more expensive for less uses. And it lasts for 3-4 seconds.
I like the Skirts.

70 muni. m8 is 60 muni Its also better than the M8 version, it gives 175 hp instead of 150 hp. Staghound has 350 hp with skirts, M8 only 300. |

But the T17 has to buy 10 munitions higher repair too now and frankly an m8 with skirts and repair is 20MP and 20Muni cheaper and more effective vs all targets. |
