btw, the two tank hunter abilities effect the vehicles which are not halftracks.

will luft be able to buy the hmg,mortar,sniper,pak38 Grin in the doctrine screen like the airborne/commandos any time soon? is that in consideration for the development of luft?

I was considering something like that recently demon!


on another note:

STATS ON PANZER FEAR AND PANZERCOMMAND:

Panzerfear:  Global purchasing, on individual units.  Each click uses a global use.
30 second aura duration around tank that clicked ability, 30 radius (might be increased to 40)
modifiers:  -20 sight range.  50% speed reduction.

PanzerCommand:  Global purchasing, global effect on all tanks.  each click uses a global use.
60 second buff
20% penetration, 20% damage.

tanks = all non halftrack vehicles in the PE army, WM vehicles are currently not effected, oops. (will fix)

I'm not sure how those abilities are supposed to compete against other t3s.....

Seriously? Buy uses, so lets say we get 3. Then I can use 1 use to activate an Aura or Buff on 1 single tank...for 1 minute....

Why is TH the only doctrine who relies on crappy short duration buffs as its t3's? Will Improved Barrels, Kurt's Finest and all other passive buffs that give the same advantage in game but are constant be put on this system as well?

You realize that this SYSTEM is there for multiple reasons, and its the only way you will generally get to stack bonus's of the same type.

lets see, thats 3 different + dmg abilities in tank destroyers... mhmm ya that really should just be another passive!!

1 minute is an incredibly short duration actually, since all you have to do is move away from said tanks behind you ATG and wait it out.

It's really worse than all the passive buff t3's out there in total benefit. If you keep your tank in range to slow the enemy tank, you are in their ATG range just as they are in yours. Neither person really wins there....

Its much cheaper to ignore it as a t3, and get a couple supplemental AT units...like an ATHT with Treadbreaker, or the 50mm ATHT, or some schreks, or a Marder...or really anything else. In the meantime, other doctrines get offmaps and nearly as potent or more potent t3's that give a CONSTANT passive Buff.

So lets see, 15% more range for 30min+ or 20% damage and pen for 1 minute? Even BLITZKRIEG is better, giving a short term global buff to ALL your units.

My issue isn't with the abilities themselves, its with their implementation next to the other competing doctrines.
