Alright here it goes, the purpose of this thread is to stop the whining about, allies elite infantry being OP or axis heavy tanks are OP

First I want everybody who reads this to look at the leaderboard of US and Wehr

Compare the two, what do you see? You see Allies with mainly Elite infantry and maybe a couple of other special units here and there. For Wehr you see mainly Heavy tanks with maybe a few elite infantry or other special units

This is meant to be..US have always had their strength in Elite Infantry, whereas axis have had the most strength in their heavy tanks, this doesn't mean im saying axis elite infantry are worthless or allied heavy tanks are worthless im saying the strengh of the 2 factions are their specialized units.

For the British and Panzer Elite you see a balance of units on the leaderboard between elite infy, heavy tanks and basic infantry.
People say units on leaderboard with loads of XP doesn't mean anything but I believe it shows what units are most capable in that faction

Alot of people say they don't want mirrored factions and well..this is how relic did it.

I don't think leaderboards are a proper representation of balance and/or gameplay.

I kinda disagree with unknown and agree with sharpshooter:

Although leaderboard XP dont represent actuall balance, the composition/mixture of those top places kinda represents something, (not sure how to interpret though)

Well how come we see no riflemen on the leaderboards? or Volksgrenadiers.. because they are incredibly weak in survivability and rather poor firepower making it tough for them to gain XP

Im not saying certain units on the leaderboard are OPed im saying generally the ones on the leaderboard are the units that excel the most in that faction

All the Leaderboard XP shows is which units get babied and retreated. Anyone can get a 600+ xp unit, now winning the games with them is a little different.

I  think for leaderboard XP to mean anything, you need to know how many games it survived, and who it was playing against, and exactly what it was killing.

i 'whine' about axis and allied elite inf because they are simply overused. elite inf isnt elite anymore if u use them as standart infantry. like dnice (13 AB squads!)

do you think this "fits in the eir enviroment" sharp?

eh aloha I see double KTs and double jagd companies quite often when these things should rarely be on the field (I see them as the only tank ever fielded) like 13 AB companies as mainline infantry..)
(I also see triple Pershing/Tiger companies everyonce in awhile too)

but anyways I said GENERALLY the units on leaderboard are the more powerful units...which in this case tend to be Elites and Heavies.

I know of 7 total Jadgpanthers in the mod.

There are 15 KTs.

There are 20 Pershings.

There are 30 Tigers

This is not counting 0 xp units.

So you must be playing the same people to always be fighting double Jadg/KT companies.

no I didn't say you did, im just saying people are free to overuse units at their will its one thing that makes EIRR unique is being able to make your company how you want

and tbh I think overusing Elites and Heavies fits in the EIR environment.. people are going to use units that excel in fighting instead of weaker units most of the time..

I ran a 32 AB company before EIRR , had fun, never won, and tottaly destroyed enemy units. That being said the spam isnt as much a big deal as, the already stated in other threads, ability to get elite infantry out of Rpackages. this is an issue everyrone already realiezes. on the loadout I agree with Sharp. Allies have more elite inf and Axis have better tanks. thats how it works. The removal of elites from reinforcemnets should hopefully reduce the wining factor that is always present in this great community

I say if people want to use the extra PP in order to spam those units let them. The system was set-up that way. When we restart this bad-boy and have the warmap and stuff you wont see that as often because people wont have floating PP's around. The extra unit spam is more reminiscent of the way having gone on too long and people having a shit-ton of PP's rather than it being unbalanced. People didnt' start doing this until a few weeks or so ago. The "war" has gone on at least 3-4 times as long as it would've taken for it to have restarted due to a side winning.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
