when they put in some sort of limitation device, either availability or teching up your company some how, these issues will hopefully go away.

yet they are so popular. but granted all games need constant fixing since there is all ways the odd OP problem or UP problem.

two halftracks with quads some rangers or paras backed up with mortars

grenspam will take a pasting and if you micro well they walk off with less than half thier squads and you survive with casulties but no squad lost. 

After last nights games i have allot of time for halftrack with quads for chewing up infantry

The reason you were having trouble, was things like solo Crocs moving up to attack 6 Gren squads, and the Stuka's I had raining death.

In general, you SHOULD lose when you are going up against 2 players worth of AT with a single tank.

playing smart is definetly the best way to counter anything.

bring in a paper to his rock, or a scissors to his paper... don't be afraid to retreat off map and change your squads completely (hard if you have em spread out over different squads though)..

i haven't watched the replay, but in my own games this sort of thing is usually a symptom of timers. at some point i feel pressured and i feel i must engage; but i'm still waiting on reinforcement. hopefully the timer cap will help with this.

I currently believe there is a problem with infantry (especially upgrade and elite infantry) spammage being quite effective.  I'm pushing for a STRONG (2-3x) increase in the munitions cost of all infantry and infantry upgrades.

You're always pushing for a strong increase in everything lmao.


While he may be able to spam grenadiers for today it's unlikely with the reinforcement cost after each battle that'll he'll be able to upkeep them or even replace his losses with the resources tomorrow I believe.

With mun costs going so high AT is impossible to get.
And without at tanks will be spammed and fuel costs will go up...

Well you can still counter tanks with tanks but yes allies can field more tanks for the price... mainly m10s and with panzershrecks being rare allied m10 spam might become a frequently seen & effective scenario Smiley.

I wasn't talking about the current situation...

But the situation in which we'd follow Ucross and go 3x munition price on shrecks. That makes them rare yes.

i feel the costs can only be tweeked liittle bits now with out screwing everything up, other ways to compensate have to be found and tested out etc. their is only so much cost can do.

i still think that if you have the availabilty intergrated along with teirs that you unlock, should stop spam. but everything requires testing.

Perhaps if allied armor was rarer we wouldn't need to get the Shreks. Its not like they are useful for infantry killing. Our tanks are overpriced in the PZ IV, and AT guns while decent if defending, are far to static.
