This doesnt work, you pay the cost for shreck but then you dont get the shreck.  I have check this multiple times and still have the same problem.  Can this please be fixed so I can drop heavy?

I fixed it... seems the upgrade got over written in the luaconsts.

This is how this Unlock should be (exact mirror of First to Jump: Airborne Riflemen):

Panzer Elite - Luftwaffe: Dropping Heavy: "Fallschirmjaeger AntiTank available to purchase"



Fallschirmjagers AntiTank - Ability: T3 Dropping Heavy
Doctrines: Luftwaffe
Pop: 5
Can airdrop: Yes
Can glider:    No
Manpower:    250
Ammunition: 0
Fuel: 0
In reserve: 4
In supply: 2
PP cost to supply: 4
Vet modifier: 80
Upgrades:   
Panzershrek (Cost: 0/150/0)
Panzerfaust (Cost: 0/35/0)
Anti-building Incendiary Grenade (Cost: 0/30/0)

Luftwaffe only:
G43 (Cost: 0/60/0, Ability: T2 Handing it over)


They would be Fallschirmjaegers men with the exact same stats/abilities and of course benefit from doctrine unlocks that affect FJ's.

If it would be like that, then this unlock would be equal with Airborne T3 First to Jump.

(Sorry couldnt come up with a better name)

With regards to the falls, it would probably be easier to just make it a tier 2 that allows tank busters to be paradropped.
This would totally suck because they wouldnt receive any doctrine buffs at all.

And on a side note:
All Airborne Units(Squad, Rifle, Sniper, HMG, Mortar) are affected by every Doctrine unlock that mentiones airborne(Airborne AT Eagles, Airborne Elite, Airborne Hard n Fast, Airborne Raid Assault).
So in my opinion besides the change mentioned above Kurts Finest should not only affect fallschirmjaegers but luftwaffe infantry too, just like crete veterans.

And once the doctrines are done the Luftwaffe and Airborne Doctrine need some looking at, because Airborne and Luftwaffe are very much alike, yet it seems that are some balance issues.

How about increasing shrek price to 150 but allowing ambush to work on it for FSJ? It would be fairly decent, but hardly overpowered for a T3. You could just call the shrek upgrade "Camo Shrek". They'd be Stormtrooper Lite, except way harder to use.

Please tell me why thats not the case for Airborne Rifleman?
This unlock should be a mirror, exact copy of First to Jump, so fsj AT should receive the exact treatment like airborne riflemen.

Yes, and in all fairness and as we discussed, this would mean that the FSJ shrek should cost slightly more. Airborne pay extra for their stickies, grenades and I think its just a oversight that Salan has forgotten to slightly increase of the AB BAR.  Similarily the shrek should get the "platform" benefits like airborne does (fireup, health etc) meaning that ambush probably should affect the panzershrek. Its not like you can chase after tank with cloaked fallschirms, however you can deal a mean alpha strike with a cloaked shrek + fast. This leaves fluff and factional differences intact while making the doctrinal effect meaningful.

Well when the ambush bonus gives extra Damage and Accuracy (especially with the other T3 ambush bonus) a Schreck on Falls should be able to kill a T17 in 1 shot and every other light tank in 2 shots no arguments, even if after the 1st shot its not in cover.  And also the bonus would almost guarentee a hit.

Well the other T3 Ambush ability isnt in yet, and who knows how it will be implemented Wink

But yes, ive upped the price for the shrek to 150 like smokaz suggested to reflect the weapons effectiveness on this elite unit.

It might need tuning in terms of damage and price, and it also could only be used defensively unless tanks decided that kiting was cheating. Salan should test how good it would be.

The PE Panzershrek already does deal less damage.
Id suggest a price between 120-140.
(Depending on what would be a appropriate price for Bar on AB Rifles)

If the shrek gets ambush bonuses mysthalin, you'll be this first guy to call for a nerf! vet 3 falls with doctrinal ambush bonuses will 1 shot armor.. shrek needs to cost for that kind of setup

Im somehow got hung up on AMPMs Idea for this Unlock:
Make LMG and Shrek purchaseable for Luftwaffe Infantry.


This way FJ can remain good AI infantry and dont have to worry about a change due to OP AT capabilities.

Luftwaffe infantry only gets the normal ambush ability via t2 but they are a weak platfomm still, so shrek wouldnt be too overkill on them.

(On a side note: Luftwaffe Infantry ambush ability behaves really awkward to me, sometimes they just wont cloak, nomatter where i put them.)
