Read the hole tropic, then post.
In the next update of EiR we gona have a major map update, now is the time to change, if you disslike this:
Viking grave= Remove
Ghost town = Remove
Venue = Remove
There HAVE been map changes, that is not in, if you like the map changes and want the map to be in the luncher, make a post.
Also Speak for what changes to do or not to do. View pic and say yes or no,
Note; All maps have atmosphere fixes and the pic you see is only to give a image of how the change may be,
not final change
Ex: if remove a grove of trees, that pace will be polished, so it dose not look boring.
Blue: Sector change
Red square: Change made
Red circle: Do change remove/add
Please post, what letter on what map you feel to keep/remove
Also, I like to see an BIG interest in this thread, if not, then I am off.
EiR need to activate them self in changes like this.

NOTE: the changes in blue and red are to move around 5cm to the right, you see the new house in the blue sector, there is a new sector and then 2 more right to the new building

You need to resector France imo. Its a good map but if you hold 50% from the right hand side you only have 35% of the sectors. Either centralise the town or add an extra sector on the right.

Did you read the tropic and view the pics?
There are 3(!) more sectors to the right side, also 1 more building to the right side that is connected to the middle.

Changes all look good, except maybe a bit overkill on chateau and ghost town.
France is one of my favourite maps, the sectors still doesn't bother me too much, but evening them back out will help map balance. (you could of done 4 sectors at the town, and 4 at the burnt out military base to even it out without losing the maps flavour imo)
The bunkers don't need removing as they are right on spawns, and already next to no health.
For Ghost town I would remove bush B.
Leave the north town in, but remove the solid terrain elevated wall (the curved wall that forces you to enter at the gate.)
Also the hedges around that top town look like classic shot blockers, but units are able to shoot through them, very annoying when trying to judge tank dodging etc..

sectors on France are just lol if you start from the left and you hold town (which has like 6 secotrs) your enemey can have like 70% of the map and you will still have 0.71
0.29.
Now it's just about were you spawn - you win.
Can be good but secotrs need serious tweaking.

You can still win france from any side.
Most of the fighting will still take place in the town area regardless of sectors, much like on church, the majority of fights happen on that line along the map.

I agee, but the right side have 3 more sectors and have a house that is in the town on "their" side, of the middle line.
The part is, one side get to the town, 10 secs faster than the other part, or less than that, 5 secs.
But as Draken said, as it is now, its a bit to hard, there for, the right side got 3 more sectors (Left side have the closest way to the town)

Venue B needs more cover between the town and those huge open areas and in those huge open areas. Otherwise support spam = win even more than it already does on that map. I think C is still the best.
I liked the spawns in the corners on Chatuea, perhaps just space them out slightly so its not a clusterfuck, but it adds nice flavor and a different feel to the map. Fights happen along the diagonal not the horizontal.
Ghosttown, top left spawn needs to move to center of road, thats really about it. The small town doesn't see much action either, most of it being around the fields in the middle. Its basically fine as is other than the spawn having to move.
Haven't played Viking forever, mainly due to the wtf Hedge spam. All the fighting again, is over the middle, and flanking is near impossible.

I've played France maybe 2 or 3 times, and outside of the weird sector in the middle, it seemed like a very nice map.
Otherwise, I've genuinely liked most of your maps, and frankly thought they were fine as is. If out of some creative angst you feel the need to tweak them, have at it, you've earned my trust.

ex: why put time on changing it to B if people like A.

I like most the changes.
One of my issues with ghost town is the town at the left spawn to be honest, it's just a cluster fuck for pathing and often causes confusion for the center player on where to retreat things to. It just needs to be a little less crowded.
As for the town on the top, it just needs to get opened up, it's very easy to cut this part of the map off, especially if you have roadblocks. Perhaps removing the 'b' hedge and just adding some cover will help the give more lateral movement in that part of the map.
There is kind of an alley effect created by hedges a, b, c the long wall along the church and the other hedges/walls along there. I think you need more entrance points from the side, there is really only about 1 or 2 ways in that come in from the side.
As for venue, I like the B changes, but as has been mentioned you definitely need some serious cover there though. I also like the spawn changes on chateau.
Lastly I like the way you did this post, it really allows for specific feedback I think more map makers should have a review of their maps like this.

I think viking grave is hopelessly lost.
Ghost town is a good map as is and doesn't need immediate attending to as far as I'm concerned. Venue (green atmosphere of doom makes the game look like shit), Chateau and France on the other hand do so it's good that you'll be adressing that.

Only way to tell If things are good, as opposed to look good is to play on them.
Also, I agree with Jaz. In Ghost Town, the extreme Urban environment, which skips sub-urbs and goes directly to wilderness on the left spawn is frustrating at times. way too easy for someone to slip an engi unit back there and wire/tank trap off some of the approaches. Maybe if it was reduced to a sub-urbia, things would work better? Kinda the same with the upper right spawn, although not as bad, and does not affect the whole team.
Also, If I remember correctly, are all of the buildings in the middle wooden, or is one of them stone? If there is one stone, then i think it is closer to the right spawn. Add another stone building on the right of the main road that is closer to the left spawn?
On the map Church, either the church, or the building next to it needs to be turned around (in the very middle of the map), so that the entrances are not both facing the right spawn, which gives that side a small tactical advantage.
Anything being done by the Convent guy? If that map was re-sectored and balanced a tad (remove recrewables, balance the town location), I would love to play on it again.

I need more info about
Cateau, Keep the old "spawn" system
or have the new spawn system.
Also, this is a sum:
Viking = removed
Vennue = B, remove forest, but dont make it so open
France = Keep the new change with 3 more sectors
Ghost town = Remove "b" forest, also make some changes to left town and move spawns a bit closer to each other.
In der hitz = fine
Church = Fine
Is this correct? Anything ells?
