Let me start by saying that I really like the idea of this T3. Tanks provide a cover boost to nearby infantry. What has been the experience of others who have used this ability. I personally find that infantry have to be too close to the tanks in order to receive the benefit of the cover boost. The reason this is problematic is because the squads and tanks usually get entangled due to a poor AI. Additionally, I tend to use infantry as a stop gap between my tanks and the enemies AT, so keeping my tanks too close to my infantry usually ends up in my tank taking damage it otherwise would not have taken.
I guess what I am trying to say is that although this T3 is an amazing idea, it fails to be a practical choice unless your willing to put your tanks in additional risk and deal with poor AI. I'd recommend increasing the range by 5 or so yards in order to give he infantry some breathing room. I realize this does not really seem realistic, but the AI's restrictions really hurt this ability and unless someone has a better solution I think a range increase is in order.
Thoughts?

can you post what the ability does. Blitz has this as a T1 that does 12% less incoming accuracy near tanks and its pretty close range.

it provide cover bonuses to infantry near shermans and halftracks. It doesn't say whether its yellow or green cover though.

i dont think it does, it provides "green like cover" so it can't stack with bi-pods, which is a tba ability right now

weird ability. One of the things is that if AT shells shoot those missed shots hit the tank lol. Seems like a good ability but really what allied tank can roll with inf using long range and frontal armour? Firefly pershing churchill otherwise nothing really. and any vehicle will die very quickly. Maybe give this ability to the infantry so that no matter whose tank they hide behind it still works.

what at gun would fire at the infantry over the tank anyway...
and this is a good ability, it promotes using combined arms, and using the tank not only as a single unit but moving it up with your infantry. I also wonder if this goes to all allied infantry as well.

It's OK for quick halftrack drop-off rape sessions, then loading back up to run away like a little girl, but other than that, the shermans and HTs are too fragile to have them constantly give this bonus.
Now if we had the Sherman Jumbo, this ability would own faces.
*hint hint implement already hintidy hint*

you guys are funny...you dont have to leave the thing out in the open, use your imagination, put an ht or sherman behind something so they can't get hit by at.

Tym....
The radius of the ability is equal to the range at which a goliath is detected by a dead horse.
In other words - you have to be humping the tank to get the ability, it's basically sword-fight range.
Buff to grenade throw range, please.

yeah, that's pretty useless. You have to stand behind the tank to take advantage of the ability. You can't put the tank behind cover to utilise it...

Theoretically it could be done. The command tank can follow other tanks, the officer can follow other infantry, I don't see why a tank can't follow infantry or infantry can't follow a tank.
