you're using a combination of airborne rifles and airborne RR units to make people believe Airborne can do everything all at once without any weaknesses as if other doctrines are incapable of the same thing.  Airborne of all varieties are far more expensive than their vanilla counterparts.  Its no different than saying Storms are invincible compared to grens, so we should remove cloak from them to balance that out.

sure in a blob there are 4x4 garands and 2x2 bars
16 garands and 4 bars and they have elite armour.
thats 2 bar riflesquads and 1 vanilla worth of damage + the 4 RRs will kill 1 inf per volley+ the blob has huge health and can lose a ton of men without losing any AT capability.

AB use Carbines, it does less damage than the Garand at all ranges, and I mean DPS, it kills slowly.

AB do not have Elite armor, they have Airborne armor.

Its a blob of ELITE infantry, expect it to hit hard. Its no different than a Stormy or KCH blob. Saying "but they get RR's!!!" doesn't work. Its the same as getting a bunch of KCH and adding in schrek squads. They are different units.

AB cost a hell of a lot more than normal infantry all said and done.
