Amazing game and a must watch for anyone who doesn't believe in allies standing a chance. Showcase example of axis superiority but allies managed to stand up to them and make a fist EVEN without any proper AT power versus multiple tanks. At guns useless? I think not. MUST SEE! Intense game! Unknown almost gave up at one point (Well Double Vet Panthers are tough, although i think u could have gotten him the one time when he was at the right house) Of course, in the heat of battle both sides made mistakes (poor Axis Sniper, got a headie at close range) but still good game.
It shows that you need Teamwork and a proper strategy to win, Not only tactical micro and big ass upgrades. (See those Unupgraded Big Old Riflemen?) Focusing on the left flank Together early on was the key to success in this battle, Not having gren squads with double schrecks or vet3 KCH.
What i´m trying to say is look, listen and learn, instead of begging for veteran paratroopers with smg´s and bar´s.

Um, I don't see why the axis did not push up at all.... The difference between a rifle spam and a volks/grenadier is that you can defeat a rifle spam pretty easy with volks + mp40 and/or grens with lmgs I have been using paras a lot and time after time after time after time after time after time I get over run. I think I know what I need to do, but I don't even know if it will work. Also, airborne should at least have there m1s shoot like m1 should. I know an smg would be a bit too much to be able to drop behind them. That was a very interesting game, and allies took a ton of losses

Heh, I'm not even sure it was worth the 'victory' it looks like you guys took a TON of losses. I'd love to see the final tally for both sides.

How are you going to use that company tomorrow with those sort of losses?
It looks like a Phyrric Victory to me.
Still, good job bluffing the Axis after you lost all your tanks. *Why, oh why, were the Axis so timid?!*
The Axis players ran backwards with thier Knight's Cross and moved them around when they were an inch away from Riflemen. I still can't believe he did that.
And we need a video of that moment when two Panthers, with help from a shreked gren squad, decimated what appears to have been an M10 and two upgraded Shermans. That was crazy in a good way. Almost like that triple vet Tiger Ace...

Although I thought the amount of infantry push by the allies was impressive, man they sure paid for every inch they gained.
In the end the Axis didn't have enough infantry on the field to really out-cap the allied, which is what in the end sealed the deal for them.
I thought the Axis were a bit over timid, sometimes retreating or backing units (mainly infantry) away when they actually had an advantage. I understand the feeling though when dealing with expesive units you tend to be a bit more mindful of them.
Contrastingly the allies had lots of riflemen and quite a few rangers, and didn't mind seending them headlong forward into the enemies path. They were able to push them back through sheer numbers and agreesion I think.
There are a few moments of excellent tank and anti tank micro in this one, it's interesting to watch how the allied start armor heavy and then switch it up to infantry heavy (mainly out of neccesity I think). The panther with some help taking out 2 damaged shermans was a huge loss I think.
Anyways very entertaining and action packed battle.
