haven't we gone over this before? we had a huge thread on it.

but to answer your question, there are no range buffs to at guns or tanks in any of the docs i think this is why. It's seemed to be balance breaking.

they could still include the pak but remove the range buff on it.

All we need is the 25% more range back on Snipers.
That would certainly make heavy support worth it again.
