Airbourne (that can buy rrs) 6
T17 3
AC (puma/PE) 3-4
Panther 2
Pershing 2

these things are getting completely out of hand lately.

3 panthers is born to stop 8 T17s so out comes the RR companies etc....

Now its getting to the point of I'm seeing tons of AB spam combined with T17 spam which leaves no gaps for whermacht to hide in or PE. While counterable it is not counterable cost-effectively.

Im not sure if 50mm belongs on that list. but once te T17s and airbourne go I guess it might become to easy to spam for AT

well some things just aren't balanced.

for instance the fact that you only have so much AT, but the T17 for a little fuel provides a lot of damage output and excells at taking out AT

AT-killing Tank/vehicles are the armoured side of the issue.
airbourne since they have such an amazing hit and run function because they can outrun infantry and tanks and fight both and unsupress is the other half.

You can only take on so much before it overwhelms you.

The t17 is good at taking out AT, yes, but not multiple pieces of AT.  Airborne are good at AT, but can't stand up to assault troops.  Everything has a counter, you just have to realize that most companies right now are spamming their best units, so you need more than a usual amount of counters to that type of unit.  Balanced companies can still work.  You just have to adjust it slightly based on what you expect to see.

Also, to counter t17s + RR's, you could use mp40s with fausts, mines, goliaths, paks...it takes combined arms to counter that sorta thing...

Uhh you can't get T17s and RRs.

T17s aren't munitions expensive unless you buy the stun.   Counting the stun is like counting goliaths for pios and calling them expensive.   T17s just need a fuel increase back to the previous 90 fuel.

Id love to get mines, but I have to pay 110 manpower for every mine I deploy outside of the terror doctrine! This is one of the things that irks me the most about wehrmacht in EIRR that blitz and def are denied the ability field an equal amount of mines for manpower. In vcoh mines are integral to fighting off early motorpool, yet here a piosquad only gets 1 mine in these doctrines.

Apparently the Dev team (got this info from Unk) think that lowering the total available fuel will help the situation.

So instead of changing the variables to get the solution, they are changing the constants....

This is done for a good reason, you can field 12 pioneer squads in your starting platoon but only 8 engineer squads.
If both would have two uses you would effectively be able to place 24 mines as wehrmacht compared to only 16 as US.
So at only 1 mine that's 12 mines compared to 16.

Support buffs maybe, defensive is really more the Wehr infantry doctrine than anything else.
The extra mine uses stacking on top of the +1 mine defensive time  on the same player would probably not be a good thing Smiley.

The 30 seconds in R+ isn't enough to lay mines, and the extra minute in Def mode won't mean anything because all your mines will have been placed by then.

It actually takes quite some time placing 2 mines and 1 goliath with 12 pioneer squads, especially on larger 3vs3 maps anyway. (And you'll also want to create kill zones with some TTs/wire for the ultimate grief)
