Post all replays you think would make a good shoutcast in this thread.
Would be nice if you could also elaborate as to why it would be good for a shoutcast.

(Just so we can centralise all the good stuff for interested people to pick from)

It was on chateau, and it did not feel like an agonising pleuthora of 10000 knives, spoons and forks jabbed into my eye and rectum all at the same time, so it's a nice change.

I've heard contradicting stories on both replays so I'm not convinced they'll make for great shoutcasts Tongue

Well t17 stunned my units so hardcore it came out of my monitor and stunned me, making me run my sniper into their spawn. Not the best opening, but it was a good game still.

Yeah, because we made you micro your sniper like a damn fool.

Contradicting stories on both replays? The t17 is arguably op, but that's not really the point here. The point is that this is a very entertaining replay with both sides doing whatever they can for the win. Not to mention, assuming it was smokaz who told you the 'contradicting story', he has been heated for a few weeks about light vehicles, so no surprise there.

The scores would've suggested a 3vs1 Tongue

Well, I'd rather look out for a game with more action. We need to get one of those good games up that we had several patches ago. We had a phase of a lot of cool games there!

I don't know, the second game was very intense.  I thought it would make for a great shoutcast.  The constant backcapping was tough to counter and deal with all the other forces attacking at the same time...

Still, the game is flawed because of the sniper, arguably because the vet 3 panther never got to repair.. the way vertigo blew up his teammates at gun with his tiger.

It was a great game,  you deserved the win but it hade some mistakes which take away from the overall replay.

As for the backcapping.. its just sloppy that you guys are not backcapping, there is nothing wehr can send for pop against a vet 3 t17 attacking the backcappers and expect to do anything more than force it away.

Your comment about paks and shreks doing fine as AT in retrospect is a bit funny, seeing as how you were pushed into spawn by a 2 game armor company doing the exact same strat (t17s backed by at guns and hellcats).

You'll have to excuse me, its just so damn hellish to have a blitz company feels useless.

Did you update to the latest version? Or try to run the shortcut in Administrator mode if you're on Vista.

True, by your hardcore t17 spam (and yes yours was absolute gimmicky t17 spam) you beat me in a close game when I had 2 pak guns 2 geschutz and a panther for AT. After that game I doubled the amount of shrek and paks and it has worked well since.

Well as for the total amount of armor, a couple of advantages and doctrinal buffs makes shifting some fuel over to m18's and a pershing or a even better idea, like it was in this replay. And when you have field repairs for unkillable vet 3 t17s they just become gross to play against. I'd like to hear proposals on what wehr units to send against a t17 operating on the side when upgunned pumas get owned, for equal pop to the t17 what else is there that can reliably chase it down?

As for your idea of getting more AT...

4 pak guns, 4 geschutz and a panther.. plus a doubled amount of shreks? Lets for the sake of arguement assume you didnt get more than four single shrek grenadier squads.. thats over half the manpower of your company into dedicated AT incapable of dealing with infantry. If that isn't a gimmick amount of AT spam, then what is? And what happens when you face airborne or infantry with the company you propose now?

I'm not sure how to solve it cause the american armor other than the t17 isn't overpowered. It's just a sad state of affairs.

The t17 veterancy needs to be reviewed, as well as it skirts. Faust damage against it needs to be looked at. I completely agree with you fielding over 50% of your manpower and munitions in AT, but play some good infantry users.. Only terror stands a chance against this crap because getting close to terror infantry with the right options and support (double mines, IA, Ferocity) is just asking for your armor to die.

And Upgun puma needs tweaking against the t17. It should win because its dedicated anti light vehicle, unless stun is used. It doesnt have the luxury of being able to take on infantry like the t17 does.

My take is also that armor must gain some options on buffing their infantry and support weapons, because of regardless of whether a doctrine is named "tank hunters" or "armor" they wont be balanced or fun to play against with their "intended" targets because of being so onesided, unless we should all start replacing large amounts of our company based on what we "think" that the other players are fielding.

I remember being able to prepare my company for a game against unknown and ampm playing double PE once, I just stacked up on zook rangers, 57s and 30 cal spam. Very little they could do against it once the mrotar ht was dead. It was unenjoyable for them, cause I basically constructed a counter-company targeting PE weaknesses.

How about saving the above for a different thread, and get back to posting shout cast submissions?  Thanks!

Yeah sorry its just so ridicolous to be told to field over half my companies resources in dedicated AT units just to fight off t17s.. Wink  Just move it if you want.

Oh i hear ya, I didn't want to outright remove it, you should copy paste it somewhere else in a balance thread or something and then i'll remove it later if it distracts from this topic.
