I dont complain about backcapping, I complain about invulnerable upguns or invulernable stubbies taking on panthers out of spawn buffs when the calliope or howitzer or whatever gets flanked unsupported. Backcapping is a good mechanic, it allows you to draw campers out to fight.

Artillery pieces being defended by spawn buffs when both sides are holding equal map 30 minutes into the game is not a good mechanic.

If you had all that crap camping spawn today, my question is wasnt the game literally over at that point? Whats the difference in having a horrible game and being pushed back to just a few sectors, and "spawn camping"?

well, i find no problem with it, just stay away from there. You know you've got about 10-15 secs of being able to sit around there. I rarely succumb to it and have changed many a mobile arty either off the field or destroyed it.

well the mappers are party responsible for this by the design of their maps.

Some maps just have enough % of the sectors close enough.

Others, Like chateaux have too little % because of the corner spawn on a rectangular map.
Rtc flips on 6 middle, 4 per spawn.
