I've been looking over the Staghound to try and figure out why it's broken and i think I know what it is.



As you see here, look at the arrow, it's in the requirement table, which means that this upgrade is required for Vet 2 I think, so because the Staghound doesn't have the slot item "commonweath_stuart_canister" it doesn't get that upgrade.

Also if you look right under "action_02" it says "Validate all subactions = true" and also "check self = true"

This is why Staghounds can't vet up past vet 1, it's because the Stuart vet was copied right to the staghound along with the additional shot, which even needed.

Stag's really dont need vet if u ask me, they are already very effective and i think when the time comes that they're vet is fixed it should be severley nerfed to more of a novelty thing.

Their vet doesn't work at all, vet 1 included due to there being a mismatch in the vet requirements in the MySQL and the RGDs, AFAIK.

Dunno why it ain't fixed yet ;P.

I dont know either, i just talked to Salan about it i've talked about this many times, it doesn't seem to be a priority. I got him to fix the canadians so it should be up soon hopefully.

don't they get something utterly stupid like canister shot at vet2? which would make a broken unit absolutely and utterly retardedly fuckingly stupidly broken OP?

if that is the case they need the vet fixed before it is activated.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

Thats what messing it up. It doesn't have the code in it to add the canister round to its repertoire. So what it's trying to do at Vet 2 is add an ADDITIONAL Canister shot to it and the Screenie I made and the REQUIREMENT for that extra canister shot is that it must have Canister shot already and since it doesn't, it can't get it's vet, so it just reverts back to Vet 0.

yea, just removing that 2nd action (action_02) will fix it.

No, it wouldn't fix it.

Tymathee, get a staghound that's vet 1, then retreat it off field. Call it on the next game. It'll be vet 0 again.
Nothing to do with vet 2.

Thats wrong, the unit will only reset to vet 0 and have a negative xp amount of around 900 if you purchase the vet, if not it will stay vet 1 untill it dies.
