Ok, nothing to do with EiR, but I HAVE to fucking vent... Infinity Ward is fucking CoD:MW2 over! They're taking out fucking server browsing and putting in a... fucking... console... matchmaking... system... They're taking out mods and custom maps... THEY ARE FUCKING IT OVER COMPLETLY!!! No, there's no cross-platform online, PS3 only plays vs PS3, XBox vs XBox and PC vs PC gamers.
And no, I completely disagree with you Two... I've played CoD 4 on XBox a few times, and it's so damned slow and paceless...

@ Malevolence: Yeah, I know, I just listened to the audiocast from bashandslash and am actually curious as how this is gonna work out. It might just pull through properly. And if not, that just means more CoH, DoW II and CoD 4 for me. I'm not even paying full price for the game anyway, seeing as I'm getting it with a subscription to a magazine.

You're playing in the wrong servers than. CoD 4 PC is way more run and gun than XBox ever will be. Joysticks just don't play properly like mouse and keyboard do. And not just for CoD, for every shooter ever created (yeah, I have played plenty of Console shooters, nothing comes near the FPS experience on a PC, just like with RTS games.)

Well my friend was playing FIFA on steering wheel, does that mean it's uber awesome I don't think so Tim. I have x360, and if there was online system PC vs xbox360 in CoD playing against CoD players would be like bashing blind kinds on wheel chairs, FPS are just fail on consoles, but then fight games, or racing games are good. |

Back on topic with EiRR though, as the console v PC is a rather long winded topic of it's own...
My upgunned Sherman got out DPS'ed by a PIV w/Skirtz while both were landing an equal amount of penetrating hits...
HEAT rounds or German Steel or something probably had something to do with it. T_T
