Although I don't play EiR any more, I do check ou the forums.  Recently, every time I visit the main page, it downloads a file named:
ZrcPbbjqcLk&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999&border=1

I'm browsing in Chromium (like google Crhome, but not the same browser) on Ubuntu linux.
It may or may not be a virus, but it's name leads me towards some funky URL messup.

Maybe it's a Google Chrome thing? I use IE and never have been prompted for file download or a link anywhere else other than EIRR...

It appears to be nothing more than an error that occurs when the connection times out or the server is recieving alot of requests, or when the browser cannot open a particular webpage and mistakes it for a general file. It basically attempts to download a webpage, rather than open the page in the browser. Long-story-short, get NOD32 is you really want to be assured that you are secure. =3
