I got the beta, gave my 2nd key to velocity to use. Game is damn fun, it's a combination of Men of War meets COH, with tons of units, superb graphics and 'operational' size theaters (several cities on a single map). The use of strategic ploys (Radio silence to hide units in a sector unless they are scouted by jeeps or spies; my favorite is inverted intelligence which makes your 'blips' in the fog of war switched around, so infantry appear as 'heavy unknowns' while tanks appear as 'light unknowns', heh) are really awesome like the off-map powers in COH, and of course you can entirely play the game without them too and it is still a really well done game. AA ambushing planes from forests, infantry laying in wait in cities (and urban areas are death traps to tanks unless its the American crocodile or super german heavy tanks), artillery wars over several 'miles', airborne dropping from above... fantastic game  |

My apologies Mal, didn't notice the link had a .de extension in it. The RUSE VIP and Fileplanet beta is ONLY open in North America and no other countries at the moment (much to the eire of Europeans due to some regional issues), don't know why he linked you the german site. Would link you the english site but at work and can't pull the website as it is blocked by company firewall. Quick google on RUSE will net you all the information until I can get home to post sufficient linkage |

Got in, been playing a bit. People need to stop with the stupid Paratrooper rushes though, happened to me twice yesterday and it's ridiculously easy to stop.

Hey Dave, and why wouldn't I be a fan of EIRR when I have roughly 450 posts as of this posting? Love EIRR most definitely, waiting for patch before I get back into the groove of things, am immensely enjoying RUSE though.
Is that your Steam Account name? Hop on vent and yell at me for a game as I will generally sit in Vent for a game!
