Recoilless rifle price

Shouldn't we decrease the cost of RRs from 180 to 150 or so, because I think 180 MUN for 1 squad with RRs is way too much. You can have a squad of rangers for 90 MUN, thats half the cost in MUN for 2 bazookas (which I admit, are worse then RRs), but still, 2 bazookas for 90 MUN or 2 RRs for 180 MUN, I don't see how that's fair. The Allies need some more anti-tank weaponry so they can hold off all those Panthers and Tigers and King Tigers... and all of those OP tanks the Axis throw at you, so I'm pleading for a reduce in the cost of RRs and maybe, like the creator of the topic said, create a separate Airborne RR squad?

RRs are easily twice as good as zooks though. They have tiny scatter, excellent penetration and come on the highest hp platform in the game with access to fireup.

Seriously?
I play Brits, with no PIATs, I deal with those just fine using ATGs.
I ran an AB company for a while with NO RR's, worked just fine with only ATGs and TDs.
RR's are nice, but they should not be your only AT, use others as well, and use the RR's to support it.

If anything RR's are too cheap. The damage they dish out is vicious and they're on such a highly mobile/resilient unit that they pay for themselves quite easily. Especially against the PE.
What I'd give for Grens to have fire-up... God damn that would be awesome as hell.

Yea Leo, they had a hard time penetrating that vet 2 Tiger of yours. They have the BEST penetration of any handheld AT in game.

Before I say anything - no, the RRs should NOT go down in price. It is fine as it is at the moment, and fiddling with the price - moving it down or up, would only cause problems.
On the case of the "highest HP platform". No. Airborne have never, or ever will be the highest HP platform in the game - they have 70 HP per man, Grens have 80 HP per man, KCH have 90 HP (+ better armor and critical type) per man and Storms have 95 HP per man. Sure, you can argue 6*70=420, but the sad reality is that it doesn't matter - you should always look at the HP per man, not the HP per squad due to things like the speed at which the squad loses firepower, how often each of the members enters the risk of death thresh-hold (red HP, and against some weapons - yellow HP) and how susceptible it is to tank fire. On all these accounts stormtroopers and KCH are and always have been more survivable than airborne.
On the count of fire up : Never ever imagine grens, of all things, should be getting fire-up, and never imply that you would give whatever to get it. Because you're asking for an ability of an elite unit to be given to a non-doctrinal mainline infantry. It's the same if the hardcore alied players started demanding stormtrooper cloak on their riflemen and recon tommies.
Not to mention that you CAN have fire-up on grenadiers. In the form of assault grenades. Sure, it costs munitions and is a doctrinal ability, but it also delivers a deadly rain of grenades!
Furthermore - fire-up is no longer an assault ability like most make it out to be. All one can use it for is escaping a nebel barrage or that accidental poking into an MG42s arc of fire. With the de-buff at the end of fire-up, using the very expensive, very pool-straining airborne for assaulting MG positions would be frankly put - daft. Unless you have 200 PPs you can spend on your all-airborne army, of course.
My point is : stop using the argument "I want fire-up on my storms, see how you like it!" because it eventually degrades into a stupid cycle of "I wish allies had storms" and "I wish axis had AB" - if you really think the other side has it that good, go play as them already, rather than putting forward such daft statements.
The point about vicious RR damage - it's not vicious at all. In fact, RRs have the lowest damage of all the hand-held AT weapons in the game(except Boys AT rifles). They do have near to no scatter, which means they'll hit most targets nearly all the time(except Pumas, which have no clipping with missed RR shots), and the penetration is indeed awesome(albeit not a guaranteed thing - it's about equal to the shrek).
But - RRs do NOT rape any axis tank in the game without a sweat. In fact, a single well used P4 will defeat any sized RR blob by simply kiting them. The RR is a great weapon - but don't talk about it as if it were the hand of God - it's not omnipotent.
Lastly - remember what the other 4 airborne in the squad are equiped with. The M1 Carbine. This abomination of a weapon is the worst rifle in the game - even volksgrenadier K98s are better. And there's more of them in a volks squad. Does that give you any ideas on how to counter airborne?

Yes, the allies have more men per squad to tip the number scale but a lot of axis infantry can single handedly take on allies infantry.
These are all vanilla, no upgrades, no nothing.
Volks v Rifle = Volks
Gren v Rifle = Gren
Volks v Airborne = AB
Gren v Airborne = Gren
Volks v Ranger = Push (possible zook crits)
Gren v Ranger = Gren
then go onto kch > all allied infantry 1v1 with no upgrades
stormtroopers? easy win, still 4 men, same gun as volks/gren and more health.
when you get into the british infantry it becomes slightly more even
and Pe inf vs allied inf is apush as well because they use the same gun as the volks and grens
so yes, axis infantry without mass allied infantry is better, the fact is that all allied upgrades are purchased in 2 or more for a reason. 2 bars, 2 brens, 2 rifle nades, 2 zooks, 4 smg's, 2 RR's,
axis? 1 lmg, 1 zook, 4 smg's, 2 pe guns (forget the name)
Axis Infantry > Allied infantry, which is why you all get upset when you get raped by Brit infantyr, you're so used to raping allied infantry, it's just awkward to you and must be wrong. Allied players are used to getting single handedly beat which is why it goes like this when dealing with threats.
allies v infantry - bring on tank
allies v vehicle - bring on infantry/at gun
axis v infantry - bring up infantry
axis v vehicle - bring on infantry/tank/at gun

Rifles can beat volks depending on what the situation is. When rifles get close range with volks they reload faster or something which helps them beat volks. Basic CoH rule: rifles beat volks at close range 1v1.
As for volks vs AB.. I think the volks would win that one too. Can't be sure though.. you usually never have that kind of engagement.

I believe that if the airborne keep moving they win the fight. Moving activates their armor bonuses, so they would get hit less. Have them running around in yellow or green cover then they should win the fight hands down vs. volks.
As for RRs. No, pricing is perfect for what it does and how good it is.
As for the all powerfull unstoppable axis tanks, as with all games of skill, you need to "learn" to deal with them. Handing you a cheaper RR isnt going to help you.
RRs will still bounce the front of the heavier axis tanks, which good players will aways keep facing your RR blob. It will only chip away health. I sudgest refining your tank killing techniques instead of looking for an easy way out with cheaper man packed AT.
