Hey guys, I just recently tested out the difference between the range of a vet 0 mortar HT and a vet 3 mortar HT. There was literally no difference between the range even though mortar HTs are supposed to get a +10 range buff and vet 3. Bug??

I'm not sure but I have a guess: the +10 only affects the range of your mortar when you hit "Halt."  I hope I'm wrong though because that would be pretty useless if the +10 didn't affect the Mortar Barrage.  The only reason I'm suggesting this is that in the past whenever there is a range buff to a unit (command tank + FF, AB + ABE, Jagd + telescopic scopes) you had to hit halt for the range buff to actually be used.  Any attack order issued would result in the unit resorting back to its normal range for fighting.

You can attack ground to get the full range

It's something that plagued literally every artillery that got range buffs with vet. I think it had been fixed on the US mortar, though, so there's no reason to believe it won't be fixed on the MHT.

it's still bugged on the howitzer for vet 2, you get the +25 in the ability cone but it wont actually fire that far.
