Is anyone here considering the lifetime subscription?
It's 239.99 USD which is about 150 GBP. My thought is that if the 12 month subscription they are offering is 75 GBP, then how much will it be to play it monthly? About 42 GBP for 6 months I reckon, same as WoW.
However, if I play it for more than 2 years (which I highly suspect considering the game's potential for future expansion), I'll have saved myself money and be able to play it at any point, even if I end up not playing for a year for whatever reason.
What do people think?
You have forgotten to factor in the cost of the initial game.
Another £30-£50 depending on which one you want.
They are pretty evil for including the Borg as the perk for going lifetime. I was tempted (not even a big trek fan, just in passing) but am going to hold off for their next big release. Of course, I have to trial the beta before the final decision.
