one map has green editing lines on it. the map from the link i just added doesn't have them. if you don't mine playing to map with the green lines then don't update it. it is also an 8 player map that i think might work for 6 players. sorry for the confusion i was planning to make it a 6 player map.

Theres a recrewable 88 at the top right side of the town, has a destroyed look but i just remanned it in a omg game.

i will have to recheck the map because i added dome movement blocks. i might have to take it out. this is funny because when i played it in V-coh the ai took possession and was wrecking stuff up.

ok, so i tried a 4v4 on foy yesterday and i see what i need to start fixing. now the question is should i wait to collect some more info or should i get rid of the 88's . if it means anything i sacrificed my jag to the 88 on purpose. just for the record i was totally agaist recrewing the 88. i might not have to get rid of them is i set health to zero. ill have to recheck the shotblocks i added to the tree groves.

Just get rid of them, recrewable weapons never did anything good on maps.

Crewable weapons are too powerfull. when you consider the free unit you get when they typicaly cost a good chunk of fuel. It also promotes more gimmick starts. Either find a way to set them to being purely visual or put an 88 Wreck there.
Under different circumstance I'd just say make make the terrain around them inaccessible, but parachute units would still have access to them

yeah, if airborne can land on a hill where no other units can come, and they can recrew an 88....
thats not gimmicky at all...

there are block cubes the prevent airborne units for landing on them. i have tose in the map except they dont work for infantry. i have to use movement blockers to prevent them from being crewed.

hey guys here's an update on the map. i added some more cover and the 88's are not recruitable. i will continue to update the map, it is still a work in progress and by the time i get done with it it should look good enough to live in, http://www.filefront.com/15497705/8p_foy.sgaby the way i suck at photoshop so can someone make a bad ass loading screen for the map you can add you name on the loading screen credits if you like. i will choose the best one.

thats not gimmicky at all...
you need to use cube blocks to denie access to paratroop unit. there was a map i played where my paratroopers got stuck on a small cliff on the edge of the map. the reason was they did not use cube blocks. you also use them in large treegroves to prevent you paras from getting stuck in there

you dont need photoshop for a loading screen. just take a vcoh loading screen or make a screenshots in the WB and use that one. dimensions are 2134x1200 save as [yourmapname].tga together with all the other files.
for saving as .tga i suggest gimp.
