The game was so laggy! then about the climax of teh game my gfx card died on me 8800 GTS i've been running it on dx10 high settings all this time.

i'm curious

1. DO laggy games affect this??

2. First time could it possibly be EIR ( i doubt it)

3. IF u know anything can u plz help =)

maybe better if i posted in relicforums or nvidia but tried before.

Its neither of your listed ideas mate sorry to say,

its vista ,  i know  i have vista and depending on the day and whether you have your left foot at the right inclination and to position of the planets are in  certain quadrant of the sky.  Vista decides to not use the Graphics Card resources and because the drivers are not really set up for vista yet your graphics card turns off and vista then suddenly realises that the card is no longer working.

YAY for microsoft!!!!!!!

I find it only happens now and then and only when resources are stretched to the maximum,  make sure all your graphics setting are turned down to minimise resources demand. 

Other than that pray Nvidia gets off thier arses and get the new drivers out asap.
