That's actually most of the point. Because of the differences in the engine, the game plays much more fluidly and allows for a great deal of what could not acctually be accomplished in DoTA.

There is no exact match in the game from DoTA, all heroes in the game, whether they are based on DoTA heroes are not are unique to HoN in their own way. Wouldn't want Blizzard filing a suit against them or anything. Besides, S2Games has their own heroes.

With your last sentence in mind, Malevolence, yes many characters have the capacity to stun and in that regard usually make the best teams, 5 heroes which have the ability in one way or another to disable the enemy.

Nothing listed....

Blizzard doesn't own the intellectual property of dota's heroes, only their unit image...

...that's nice. Every aeon of strife ever almost every game has a team with over 50% having some sort of disable, doesn't tell me a lot.

Mal, the game is superior in every way. The people you are talking to must be Diehard DotA idiots. because the only ones still playing DotA are the retarded ones. I'm not even kidding, go check out a news post about Pro DotA players swapping to HoN and it will literally rock your faith in humanity at how judgmental those people can get over switching games. They view it as some sort of cardinal sin or some shit.

HoN isn;t even out of beta and it's already got money tournaments out it's ass. It was picked up by the Dreamhack LAN in Sweeden(Which has had DotA as 1 of the core games for almost every year since it's inception)

HoN is the future, and it's a good user friendly and innovative future. S2 is barely scratching the surface of what is possible with the K2 engine.

is there a way to make the game auto-use an ability(for instance on the aforementioned ghost marchers?) as soon as it's possible? Without downloading/writing your own macro-commanders, ofc.

You guys just hate talking about specifics, don't you? Sheesh.

None of which are specifics about what they have improved since DotA, or ways in which heroes are actually different instead of the same abilities on a new face. Can you please just answer my question?

tbqh, mal you are a little too emo towards this topic. Stop player hating and drop it. Clearly HoN is almost entirely based on Dota, there is no contention of that. The idea is that it comes with better playability and graphics.

Mal there's like 10 heroes out of the 42 heroes that are based on DoTA heroes, the rest are new. And there's like 20 new items and 2 new maps (one of them is three lanes and the other is two lanes). And instead of Rosh there is Kongor on one map, a frankenstein thing on another and some rat or something on the last map. Oh and there is also a stat tracking system so you can tell who is noob and who isnt.

I'd tell ya more but I never even played DoTA.
