There are ZERO people with medic bunkers in the game...
Then obviously, the arguments in this thread are from people who have used it to death!

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

I realize that there's a big difference between a unit on paper and a unit in action. But on paper the med bunker is pretty crap. No Def player I have spoken to (including myself) would take it.

All my Wehr allies will have Medkits of their own,

Lol no.

Quote
and PE players have less use for healing, and healing sources of their own.

Only SE has healing.

Quote
It'd be totally impractical to pull an HMG/PaK back to the bunker to heal for several minutes at a time.

You mean the same way American players routinely pull HMGs, mortars, and ATGs back to the triage to heal?   In fact, healing ATGs was one of the main uses of the triage.

Quote
Anything else doesn't need to heal in the first place. Recrew Volks are there to recrew, not get shot up and heal. Pioneers are there to stay back and build defenses, not get shot up and heal.

You mean the same way recrewed 57mms healed at triages?   Or the way flame engies healed at triages?

Quote
MP40 Volks are virtually meant to die like flies, and Medkits allows them to heal in combat, which obviously cannot be said of the Med bunker.

MP40 volks are just as tough as riflemen, yet people healed riflemen at triages.

Quote
Yes the Med bunker could be useful to some units, or in some occasions, but nowhere near enough to actually be worth taking.

I guess the triage is useless then because all those units you say is not worth healing the Americans all use to heal with triages.

Luft no longer gets its airdropped crate?

With how slowly the med bunker heals, it'd just be a lot quicker and easier to call on a recrew than to dwadle back to it for minutes at a time.

If Volks are just as tough as Riflemen, then it'll take them twice as long to heal!

The crate heals at 1/5 the rate of a triage, or 1/3 the rate of a medic bunker.  If you want to whine about slow healing, you should whine about the crate. Roll Eyes

It heals at 60% the speed of a triage, and 50% faster than a support scout car or a medic kit, stop trolling.

The medic bunker healing less than the triage, on units with more health per man on on the squad, and taking up 3 of 8 pts and 75 PP + costing an lmg or 2 mp40 worth of muni simply isn't worth taking. The reason that no one is using it is because its blatantly obvious that its not worth sinking the PP and muni into.

It heals at nearly half the speed of a Triage, and Wehr units have more HP to heal than US ones. So I was right about it taking twice as long to heal. Cheers!
I fail to see how being right = being a troll.

And since Axis units have more HP they have to heal, shouldn't the med bunker be more effective? Why pay more to get less? Why give Def the worst of both worlds?

And.. At the very least, I'm posting my concerns over the med bunker in a legible, non-disruptive manner. Don't try to shoo me out of here when that's exactly what this forum is for.

Weapon crew have the same hp, so no, it does not take twice as long to heal.

No, as I've already explained, wehr infantry are more survivable and thus they get far more utility out of healing.

I'm shooing you out because no one in the game has used the unit yet and you are already complaining it's useless simply because it is weaker than the American counterpart.

"It is weaker than the triage!" is not a valid balance argument.

If no one in the game is willing to burn a T3 to use it i'd say thats an item that is "broken" since its not considered viable for use by most players. I'd much rather see something else in that slot than something i don't think any players will want to use.

Except only one person in all of EIR can actually buy the medic bunker. Roll Eyes

There's only 1 Wehr player that is over level 7 to unlock it. Check the leaderboard.

The only person to have used the medic bunker is killer, and he said he would definately take it.

You guys' entire argument boils down to "it's weaker than a triage, therefore it's useless".  I guess half the allied units are useless because they're weaker than their wehr counterparts.

Triage Heals at .25
CCS Heals at .24
Airborne Medic Heals at .2

Medic Bunker heals at .15
Medkits heals at .1
Support Scout Car Heals at .095
Luftwaffe Air-bridge heals at .05

It's already the best axis healing unit on the strongest platform of all the healing units.
