((PROBLEM SOLVED))
I downloaded the EIR:R installer, double-clicked it, and all I get is a command console which quickly opens and closes.
Nothing happens. It might be worth noting that I downloaded it from the link to Filefront provided on the menu bar to the left: "Download Latest Version!" and NOT through the forum link (which doesn't work).
Also, the installer is now locked - I have to use "Unlocker" to delete or even move it.
((I downloaded the setup.exe 3 more times from Filefront. It failed two more times, but the third time it installed correctly.
So - I think it was just Filefront having issues.))
