The project directly relates to Europe in Ruins at its core and anyone wanting to understand how some development processes are done, or wish to be apart of that process are encourage to express their interest here.

This is to be taken very seriously and only those individuals who likewise, find seriousness within proper research should apply within this thread. The information contained within the project is extremely classified and private. Individuals apply to this project should understand the nature of classified information for the ramifications of anyone leaking information regarding it are grand.

To apply, please detail the following:

Username:
How long you've played EIR:
Current Faction being played:
Current Doctrine being played:
Preferred Faction:
Overall view of Europe in Ruins factions:

I'll answer any questions you have within this thread and I be contacting individuals though private messages later. There are only a number of people I will be letting in on this project, so make your bid good.

I won't be submitting myself, but I'm sure a question most people are going to ask is:

What exactly are they signing up for and why? What is it going to do?

We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.

So basically you don't actually care to tell us what it's for.

No, because I want to maintain some privacy over the subject so people don't get all worked up and expect things to happen.

Well that's not very warm and fuzzy, is it?

Leave it to Akranadas to add an air of Nazi Death Camp Role-Call to a simple "help us improve EiRR survey sign up".

Besides, "expecting things to happen" is the only motivation you're giving for people to sign up at all!  Wink Take that away and they are not very motivated except by yon horse whip Mein Fuhrer.

The problem is I don't want to get peoples hopes up or anything like that. If you read between the lines you could probably guess as to what it is about.

If I must tell you; it's about Factions.

Overall view of Europe in Ruins factions: Balance between US and Wehr doesn't seem right to me at the moment. PE and Brits seem fine so far, can't really tell.

Ill take this as a "No  not interested but id prefer to make things difficult and annoying"

Difficult and annoying begets the same in return, silly willy.

All I'm sayin' is, a simple "sign up with the following info and we'll ask you a bunch of questions to try to improve EiR with" is a bit more, uh, friendly, than "sign up here and we may do something with your information at a later date."

So what is the end result of this project going to be? Direct faction rebalancing or just a survey for future refence? Either way sign me up

Overall view of Europe in Ruins factions: Overall balance seems to be quite good however allies are definitely a lot easier to play and synergise leading to issues at lower-mid level play.

Overall my point of view of Europe in Ruins factions:
Brit shouldn't have mobile weapon team.
US armor is cheap.
Wehr got all-round, the finest faction.
Panzer Elite concentrate to light vehicle, rather heavy panzer.

Overall view of Europe in Ruins factions: i generally like the design of EiR factions, though there are certain grievances 1. in the way they are devised and 2. with a few tiers themselves.

Overall view of Europe in Ruins factions:  A lot of tweaking has paid off and they are pretty much balanced against each other (before doctrines).  But the availability system reduces the flavour of companies while failing to stop spam and some doctrines make it hard to field a balanced all-comers force.
