You're abusing a bug. Just.. dont. There's no excuse. You have regular vet 2 sticky range on normal squads, you're just abusing a cheesy bug and it griefs other players.
Once it gets fixed feel free buy stickies on vet 2 rifles and use them with the sticky doctrine ability.
If there was a range bug that gave tigers 80 range (twice its normal) you wouldnt find it very cool either

It's not technically on the exploit list and I don't think it's realistic for us to put it on that list.
That being said, it will be fixed soon.

37 range to 27 range isn't double the range.
If a Tiger got bugged to the same (percental) extent vet 2 stickies are with the T3, it would have 55 range, which isn't quite as OP as 80 range would be.
Also, the game we just had you did not lose to the vet 2 stickies. All but 1 of the stickies were thrown at the regular 27 range(the one sticky that wasn't thrown in the range was aimed at the stuh behind the hedge.

It's still a terrible bug regardless mysthalin, there's absolutely no point in trying to argue in its defense.
Also nitpicking on the poor Tiger analogy Smokaz came up with is irrelevant.

Considering that Old Terror 1 man of doom was in and every Terror player i ever played against had 1 man kill vet 3 Tanks, and vehicles and then his MG42 buddy came along and erased all my infantry....
I seem to remember that happening quite often. SO just relax, IT did happen, IT was the same as a tiger with 80 range. And it happened a lot. It will be fixed but do what every axis terror player told allied players.... Don't play them or deal with it. I remember those words quite well.
Its amazing how short term memory works at times.

1 man gren fighting off 5 rifles squads is not considered an exploit....

There's a difference between a blatantly OP ability and an exploit. Using one of them just makes you a douchebag, using the other makes you a douchebag AND a cheater.

Because, you redheaded brat, they weren't bugs just extremely poor balancing of stacking abilities. Haven't you seen it posted around here, that sticky range ability + vet2 sticky vet stacking was a bug? With your kind of response there's no wonder why the dev team has to do quick patches to ultrafast fix gamebreaking stuff like the scout car because people can't refrain from abusing bugs to grief others.

it was found by a dev in the game while we had a teammate with it, so it's fixed in today's patch.

smokaz is right.
Dont abuse this bug, its unbecoming conduct to do so and we shouldnt encourage it. Your just gonna be labeled a dick, and if you do it to me, see if you get any sympathy in game.
Its benefit enough that every riflesquad has vet2 sticky range but throwing stickies farther than a unit can possible have LOS is gay and broken, so dont do it.

I tend to agree with puddin - vet 2 stickies with 37 range is only about as broken as zeal was. Just one is now acknowledged to be a bug, the other with it's 0.18 cooldown was considered a "good gameplay feature".
I've fought these vet 2 stickies with awesome range. I got stickied by them when I shouldn't exactly twice, with one of them being debatable. Once my hotchkiss got stuck, the other time PQ started to throw the sticky at my panther within standard vet 2 range and I would of gotten out(or not), but the ability helped him at getting it off anyway(or it wouldn't of needed to, still not sure). It's all about proper micro and kiting, and, yet again smokaz, in that game it was definitely not the stickies that got you. It was my nearly 30 kill staghound, my 2 12+ kill croms and my bren squads that got all your infantry for our ATGs and fireflies to survive and defeat your tanks.

Im not blaming anything on a single game. Coming in here and saying "zeal should have been a bug" long after to justify abusing sticky bug right now is worth zilch. Zeal was never coined as a bug, ferocity was super OP with zeal but it was never ever considered a bug. No need to justify it just don't abuse game mechanics that have been reported as bugged.
If you are throwing a sticky with a vet 2 rifle with the doctrine choice in mention, you are abusing this bug. End of it.,

That's the very definition of double-standards.
Even Relic considered IA at the strength of Ferocity a bug - that's why they nerfed it into IA. Or do you not remember the sniper in church with old-school IA strat? Shrek guy in HT rush to base and pop IA to insta-kill it strat? There's youtube videos of those.
And stop coining the misconception Zeal was only OP with ferocity, or vice versa. They don't NEED each other. Ferocity makes shreks fire automatically, zeal makes LMGs fire non-stop. They do that on their own. Sure, popping ferocity will help out LMGs, and being 1-man will somewhat help out ferocity shreks, but they never needed each other. They were, in their very essence, bugged.
